Sir Dough — Restaurant in Chandigarh

As much as the great food this place serves, it’s a nightmare to get your food ordered from the server and probably the only server/ manager/ captain in the restaurant. It’s pretty evident the server is either too tired doing his daily routine or is completely uninterested and remains dull all the time. After we finished our food and tried giving him a polite feedback and in the nicest way possible, he came back at us stating he hasn’t even had his food and wanted the feedback to be shared which is what I am doing now. The courteousness, politeness that you expect while someone takes your food order or even while serving it. While I can empathise and understand it’s very difficult for 1 person to manage but at the same time it’s the owners responsibility to ensure the staffing is done adequately and most importantly train your server/ captain to at least make the customers feel comfortable and not give them an impression it’s a favor done by them.

Once again the food here is top notch but I can imagine why the service experience results in almost empty to very low no. Of customers.

Hoping I hear back from the owners if they are serious about the business and care about the feedback...

I would like to share something with you that has happened to me twice. I visited Sirdough, Sector 7, Chandigarh. The first time was about 1-2 months ago when I ordered a pizza. Unfortunately, it wasn’t prepared properly. When I pointed this out to the manager at the time, I was told that this is how it’s made at their outlet. I paid the bill and, instead of addressing it publicly, I shared my feedback via a personal DM, requesting that they serve the same quality as their Panchkula outlet. I never received any response, and over time, I forgot about it.

Today, I was heading to @OvenFresh, but due to the long waiting time, I decided to give Sirdough another try, despite my doubts. Unfortunately, the same issues occurred again, even though I mentioned while ordering that this had happened to me before. The pizza was of poor quality once more, and it was quite disappointing.

If you cannot maintain consistent standards, it defeats the purpose. After this experience, I can no longer recommend your Sector 7 branch. If anyone wants to visit, I would strongly suggest going to the Panchkula outlet, where at least the...

I recently visited Café Sir Dough Bakehouse Café and had a fantastic experience. I tried the Vietnamese Cold Brew, ABC Juice, and Quinoa Salad, and all three were top-notch. The cold brew had a smooth, refreshing taste that was perfect for a warm day. The ABC Juice (apple, beetroot, and carrot) was fresh and energizing, while the quinoa salad was a healthy and flavorful option with a great balance of ingredients.

The café itself is cozy, with free Wi-Fi, making it a great spot for working or relaxing. The staff were attentive and friendly, adding to the pleasant atmosphere.
