Delhi Special Pranthe Wali Gali — Restaurant in Chandigarh

Tldr; Food quality is bad and the restaurant is trying to ride the fame of the Paranthe Waali Gali from Chandni chowk, Delhi to attract customers, pretty misleading and their "best seller" from zomato is downright bad.

I ordered their "BEST SELLER" cheese parantha from zomato and it was a big let down.

The "BEST SELLER" was very bad for the value. Filling was nowhere to be found and it was extremely dry from the inside. On top of it the filling was bland and carried no taste.

For extras I have ordered for butter on the paranthas and they didn't took effort to apply the butter instead they sent butter separately. So the services from the kitchen was bad aside from the cooking.

If a restaurant with "Special Parantha" can't gets the basics right it's...

The name prompted us to go to this shop. At 5 pm too the joint was crowded. Waiting time was painful. Even though the name suggests paranthe only, it serves other items as well. A neighbour had ordered Tandoori roti, and was not too happy about it, being brittle and thick. When our order for Parantha came we were surprised to see the size. They were almost 12-inches in diameter. One parantha is sufficient for a normal person.

We tried Gobhi ka parantha and Pyaz paneer parantha and found both of them to be tasty, as was dum aloo.

The joint is reasonably priced. There is sufficient parking space available in the front for a reasonable fee...

Today I ordered Aloo paratha and Mix Paratha from this place on Zomato. Mix paratha was ok. But when I touched Aloo paratha there is no Aloo in that. Worst Aloo paratha one can have in Chandigarh. I know profit bhi krna hota hai ek business ko. But apni quality itni bhi mat girao ki Aloo Ka paratha plan paratha lage. 2 stars are for mix paratha. Please try at your own risk.
