Lava Hot n Fresh — Restaurant in Chandigarh

Do not waste your money here. Thugs of the modern India. Their display screen shows different rate and when you go for ordering they charge you more. I had ordered chicken taka tak for takeaway after going through its reviews on different sites which now seem to be fake ones. They charged me 250/- while their display screen outside was showing 200/-. When i asked for the same to the cashier he said that display must be showing for chicken tikka and not taka tak. I assured him that its fir taka tak, then his second excuse was that is takeaway rate and to this, i told him that i have ordered takeaway and now his third excuse was in displayed rate we only give 4 pieces while you will get 6 pieces as you have paid more. I was not satisfied by the reply but left.

Now comes the quality part, would just say pathetic, had to throw away this as it was too spicy while i had already communicated that it should not be spicy. For anyone visiting that place still after this review be sure to argue about the price they keep flashing on the screen and what they charge you. Its definitely going to be more as i had seen one more incident while standing there, one person had ordered full tandoori chicken for which they have mentioned the price as 200/- but they charged him 260/-.

I have never encountered anything like that before in the chandigarh where people charge you more than what is shown...

Monday I visited Lava and ordered special tandoori chicken one which they give for 250 or 260 bucks. There is one roasted chicken available to them that on 200 bucks but this item was over so I ordered full special roasted chicken. While eating I found few pieces were not as hot as they should, rest were. Second I found it was not cooked properly. I left 4 pieces of because of that. Now since Tuesday, I have sore throat, feels like my throat swelled up and having pain. Guys, its Wednesday today and I visited doctor and he put me on antibiotics for throat infection. Plz right now avoid eating out and plz dont eat from Lava. Enclosed my medicine pic here. I hope this helps to everyone...
