Moti Mahal Delux — Restaurant in Chandigarh

Went here recently for a family dinner and, unfortunately, the experience was underwhelming. While the ambience is decent, it clearly needs better upkeep and maintenance to match the standards one expects from the Moti Mahal name. We ordered the vegetarian platter which arrived on a sizzler plate and turned out to be quite disappointing. The Dahi Kebab was awful—lacking flavor and too hard in texture. The Soya Kebab and was completely avoidable. The only saving grace on the platter was the Paneer and Mushroom Tikka, which was well-cooked and tasty. Drinks-wise, soup and mocktails were okay, nothing memorable. The place seems to cater more to people coming in for hard drinks, as the vibe was quite loud with too much noise, not ideal for a relaxed family outing. Service was another issue—the staff seemed confused and uncoordinated, and to make matters worse, cutlery was not clean, which is a basic expectation at any dining place. Pathetic and Horrible place to visit :- We all 5 people planing for the dinner outing considering all the named options present in Chandigarh like Swagath, Pirates of Grill, Mainland China etc. Fortunately we have tried all the options I mentioned and very satisfied from them, but unfortunately we took the decision to visit the place named as Moti Mahal Delux. At the time before we entered, all of us were excited because of the brand awareness of Moti Mahal but our excitement ends at the same time, when we entered in the restaurant@10 P.M. We saw all the chairs were empty in their dining courtyard, the food we order was unhygienic in terms of taste (both veg and non veg ) and breads (chapatis) were unbaked and last but not the least service was horrible(as we are the only one who were siting in their dining). At the end I would say don't go to "Moti Mahal Delux" as it is directly proportional to WASTE of MONEY,...

My experience at Moti Mahal restaurant was extremely disappointing. The food quality was below average and did not meet my expectations. Additionally, the behavior of the staff was highly unprofessional; they were rude and lacked basic courtesy. It felt like they had no regard for customer satisfaction.

Moreover, there was a clear instance of dishonesty regarding the corporate discount they advertised. They initially promised a 20% corporate discount before I placed my order, but when the bill arrived, they only gave a discount of 519 against a bill of 5411, which is far less than what was agreed upon. This indicates deceitful practices aimed at misleading customers.

Overall, my visit to Moti Mahal was marked by poor food quality, disrespectful staff, and misleading business practices. I would strongly advise against dining here if you value good service...
