Went there on the recommendation of my friend, was absolutely disappointed and appalled by the service provided to us. We were made to sit inside a hall with houseflies all around and dirty plates. We ordered a chicken platter and their special tehal singh chicken as recommended by the server. He spoke so highly of the dish and told us it will have dry fruits in it. We decided to go with the dish but to our disappointment the chicken was spicy, salty and horrendously beyond consumption. There were no traces of dry fruits in the dish but only 2 bucketloads of salts and spices. We asked our server to get the special chicken replaced with butter chicken and this new dish was equally as horrendous. There was no taste of sweet butter chicken to be found in there, only salty, week- old frozen chicken that was warmed up in a hurry. We were so disgusted by the food and the service, we had to leave all the food and hurried to pay for it and just leave the premises. To our surprise, the horror didn’t end there. While deciding upon the next place to go to, we were still parked in front of the restaurant, we witnessed the cook tasting a customer’s food with his bare unwashed fingers, that too not once but twice and then proceeded to use the same hand to garnish the dish. Right away we complained to the owner/receptionist and the person had a lacklustre attitude towards the customers and the city’s health codes, which was very evident by the next action of them serving the same food to the customer. PLEASE NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE. I am currently sick after just tasting the food and I am writing this from the washroom. Thank you...
Read moreWe had heard a lot about Tahal Singh's Dhaba from friends, so we decided to give it a try with high expectations. Unfortunately, our experience didn’t quite match the hype.
We ordered Keema, Kadhai Chicken, and Mutton Rogan Josh. While all three dishes were cooked properly, the main issue was with the flavour and differentiation. Both the chicken and mutton dishes seemed to use the exact same gravy, which was surprisingly sweet and lacked any real spice or chilli punch.
Another big letdown was that the flavour of the meat itself was missing. Neither the chicken nor the mutton stood out — everything just tasted like that one overly-sweet base gravy. The Kadhai Chicken, which is usually expected to be bold and spicy, also fell flat.
In short, while the preparation was fine, the food felt bland and repetitive, especially for those expecting rich, spicy...
Read moreI had the pleasure of dining at Tehal Singh's Dhaba & Restaurant, and I can't say enough good things about the experience! The food was absolutely delicious - it had that authentic, homemade taste that's hard to find in restaurants.
The ambiance was cozy and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that my dining experience was top-notch.
I highly recommend trying their signature dishes, especially the butter chicken and garlic naan. Each bite was bursting with flavor, and the portions were generous.
Tehal Singh's Dhaba & Restaurant is a hidden gem, and I'll definitely be returning for more mouthwatering meals. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by for a taste of authentic and delightful...
