Ciaana Cafe and Kitchen — Restaurant in Chhattisgarh

Visited for first time here in Ciaana Cafe and Kitchen in Raipur, it’s located in one off the porche area that is in Shankar nagar.

Tried the Ting Ming Mushrooms which is Ciaana Special and it was good, it was crispy and sesame seeds where garnished and Capsicum/bell peppers gave a nice crunch and was oriental style of cuisine, only one thing when I had I felt, there was both mushrooms and baby corn in terms of texture and appearance and I asked to the stewards they said it’s completely mushroom, and although, it’s great, the Ciaana special dish and it’s 100% agreed in terms of taste and class, although little expensive but worth the try, next time if in Raipur whenever getting time, will try other food in their Ciaana’s Menu and a must visit place to be overall honest for taste.

Edit:- Latest Update- visited again at dinner, started by 6pm and finished by 7 pm, quiet early dinner, although, I went for full fledged meal, in soup tried the wonton soup, it’s basically semi transparent and not too thick soup, which had Asian exotic veggies and huge giant chunk of wonton, the soup was excellent and outstanding.

Next was the Veg steak with BBQ sauce, the 2 generously pieces of steak cutlet with herbed rice and exotic veggies with Barbecue Sauce, was again fabulous, the BBQ sauce was sweet and savoury at the same time, it’s a combination of meal, which has all items what you want to have in a meal.

Lastly, tried the Churros with Dark Chocolate sauce that is Cianna’s special, it was good, the churros where good, although in my opinion, inside churros, could have been tad softer, the outside was crispy, the sauce was neither too thick nor too thin, but only one place you get churros in Raipur is this place at Cianna Cafe and Kitchen.

I would like to thank Dulesh Sahu, the person who took care closely and even other colleagues who took care of me, credit and kudos to them, for giving such a kind hospitality and it’s a pure vegetarian place, so veggie lovers, go and have best experience for vegetarian food, and if in Raipur, will...

We arrived at 9 PM directly ordered main course it took them more than 30 mins just to get papad ..food arrived after 45 mins of ordering than it was not what we have asked for they sabji and dal back after good ten minutes a guy came and asked us ki 'sir please wahi kha lijiye by mistake ho gya hai' we said No, then they took another 30 min to make it again and serve us. This time they served us with cold roti that they have made 30 min ago with privious order. Again it took 10 more min for fresh roti to arrive.

Now comes food review - Papad was not properly roasted Dal Fry and Mashroom Masala had lots of fresh green chillies so much that it was ruining the whole taste Malai kofta - it's the worst malai kofta I have ever had. No one touched it after just tasting for once.

Request - I visited this place after seeing multiple promotions by influencers.. instead of paying them please hire better staff and improve kitchen and...

Worst service staff ever, specially the lady who-took our order..they messed up the whole order.. we asked for normal fries they gave us spicy ones.. we sent it back but they said we made it please manage so we did.. than we ordered dim sums they were out of stock.. the one who took order didn’t even bothered telling us we kept asking the waiters for it.. waited for another another 45 mins for it and than they said it was out of stock.. asked for bill which was another 5-10 mins which came with dim-sums charge which we didn’t got.. we asked the lady to come she didn’t bother coming and was standing there the whole time.. dont bother going...
