Read moreThe place is one of the oldest food arena place in raipur. It's famous for dosas and rasmalai. We had gone to have there Ras malai whenever in raipur. About the food- Paper dosa-it was crisp as we expected. The batter was simple and basic. We loved the chutney they had provided. It was a 5/5 dish. Cheese burst dosa- the dosa could have more cheese. It was a basic masala dosa with a hint of cheese in it. I would have been happier if the amount of cheese increases.it was satisfactory but could have been better. Chole bhature- If you are expecting a North Indian flavor than it's not the dish to order. It looked nice, but not an authentic chole bhature. Although they did provide fresh Onions to go with it. Ras malai- the best Ras malai one can ever have. It's my comfort food and having it is a bliss. People with sweet tooth should surely try it. Dahi puri-amazing and worth having. I am a big fan of dahi Puri at manju mamta's. Do try it if you love having street food. Coming to hygiene- The plates were clean, table looked clean too. It's a very basic and pocket Worthy restaurant. Good for college going student who have a limited amount of pocket money and want to have meal. One will not get proper dinner meals.but they do have options for chinese, North Indian,...
Read moreI went to Manju Mamta as someone has suggested to me to try this restaurant. The restaurant is very popular as they are serving for quite a long period.
I have tried their Gol-Gappas (Panipuri or Water balls) and Chole Bhature. And I like the Pani which they serve with GolGappas. I also like the Chole bhature. It was good in taste.
But I was a bit worried about their hygiene. It's not well maintained in terms of the sitting arrangement, especially on the 1st floor. The waiters were not maintaining the minimal required hygiene.
Therefore, I am not sure if they were maintaining hygiene around the cooking area.
After finishing all our food, we ordered Pav-Bhaaji. They had served the stale food as the smell from the Pav Bhaaji wasn't good. And then I asked the waiter to pls smell and tell me if it was a freshly cooked or stale one.
Then the waiter smelled the food and took the plate and ran to the kitchen and changed it.
It's good that they have changed that immediately.
Therefore I would give 3 stars as per my experience here.
Hope this review...
