This will be a detailed review, so bear pls.
FOOD - We ordered the following - Veg Asparagus Sushi - Very peculiar taste, some would like and some would not. For me, it was an okay dish. I liked the sesame seed sauce. The rice was a little hard for my liking. Also, my tastebuds could not adjust to the extremely pungent wasabi. If that is what authentic wasabi is, please keep it the way it was. It just isn't meant for me. Lastly, please rethink if you would like to garnish it with mayo at the top. Does that not take away the authenticity? Veg Salt and Pepper - Tasty, nothing out of the world though. Will I order it again? Yes. It is like a go-to starter when you donot have a particular choice. Shrooms (Mushroom Dimsums) - Delighted! Super tasty dimsums. The mushroom filling was awesome, and the outer layer was also soft and non sticky in the mouth. Particularly loved this one. Veg Primavera Pizza - The waiter asked us to try Farmhouse Pizza, but we stuck with this one, and were not disappointed. Super tasty pizza, with oregano and chilli flakes as the sides. If I were to nitpick, more burnt garlic should be added and should be spread more uniformly across the pizza, as it really accentuated the taste. Cheese Sauce Pasta - My child loved it, and I would say it didn't disappoint me. It was okay for me, I can order it again. My only complaint was the potion size for pasta was quite small. Mezze (Middle eastern platter) - I enjoyed this one. Small pita breads with falafel and hummus and various other fillings along with flavoured lettuce and olives, I enjoyed having this one.
AMBIENCE - I liked the ambience. There are two floors. The ground floor is where the AC runs, and the ambience is dim lit. There was a projector running that dispalyed the IPL match, and the bar section was there too. Not too noisy, the lights are a bit dull, but all in all, the ambience was nice, and you would have good background when clicking pictures. The top floor is open, there is no ac but coolers are placed at different locations. A band was playing some really good old bollywood songs. The lighting was also much better than ground floor. If not for the hot weather, we would have prefered the top floor only.
SERVICE - Major red flag! I feel for the owners. I am sure this is a passion project for them, and all this investment of time, hard work, and money goes to waste if the customer does not like the service. We felt like the waiters were there only to take orders and serve the respective dishes. Nobody, even once, all through our 3 hours of sitting, came to check on us, apart from taking order and serving. We asked for bottled water, it never came. Then, if we needed to get our water refilled, or we needed to get our plates changed, or we needed more spoons, we had to literally make an effort to get these things done. Eventually I got fed up and took the spoon stand from the other table myself. To the owners - Please get your services right, invest in trained staff, or train your staff properly. They should be more courteous, and proactive when serving customers. The serving staff's, as well as the management's indifferent attitude was palpable. I don't know if these guys are underpaid or what, but their attitude clearly reflected that they are either uninterested or burdened, both of which is not good. The service clearly was not upto the mark, and is a major point of improvement for this restaurant.
Closing thoughts - Your ambience and food is nice, but please work on the quality of your service. Will I visit again? - Yes, with a hope of...

Read moreThis Restaurant sucks! The food was okay, the atmosphere was okay but the service was pathetic, we have to literally order multiple times to get a single order. Additionally, As per the government latest rules and regulation and consumer acts. No restaurant can force customers to pay charge as service charges post GST. However, this restaurant has forced me and other customers to pay the service charge which is illegal and unethical against the will of the customer. The service was pathetic and still, they asked me to pay the service charge which is against Indian law. We have this statement from "Abhinav Shrivastava, Co-founding partner at GSL Chambers and advocate-on-record, Supreme Court of India, tells us that the Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA) has stated that service charges are not imposed by the government and announced a complete ban on service charges on July 4, 2022" and additionally as per CCPA - The CCPA issued guidelines in July 2022 that restaurants and hotels should not: Automatically add service charge to the bill. Collect service charge under any other name. Levies service charge in addition to the amount and taxes. Force a consumer to pay service charge Impose any restriction on entry or provision of services based on collection of service charge. If they cannot adhere to the Indian law then their licenses should be canceled. They are looting/scamming the customers and collecting services charges in thousands/lakhs from customer on daily basis. I am already working with the National Consumer Helpline to address the same and to my surprise their parent company have not responded to them for weeks now. I am waiting for few more weeks to hear from them and will take legal actions against them...
