Chaayos Cafe at Botanical Garden — Restaurant in Dadri

This outlet of Chaayo’s is located on the ground floor of the Botanical Garden Metro Station, facing the main road. The inside is cheerfully decorated with Chaayo’s trademark murals featuring chai, with the counter at the far end. Each table has a scannable QR code on it, which you can use to scan the menu and place your order, which a staff member will then serve at your table once it’s ready. There are a range of savoury snacks, including parathas, pakoras, samosas and packaged snacks (Chaayo’s own) as well as sweets like cake wedges and so on. They also serve an array of teas, as well as some basic coffees and a few non-caffeinated drinks.

I was waiting with my wife for a friend at botanical garden. Quenching to have something hot and flavoured warm. To my surprise I saw Chaayos. Delightfully I ordered myself a good warm green tea whereas my wife ordered a kadak chai. We ordered vada pav as well. Will be honest i found the pav a bit weird for authentic vada pav standard that Mumbai's local vendors get you for 10 bucks all inclusive Where as I paid 79 here excluding taxes. But let's not forget what Chaayos does best. Making a good tea to start the day with. A standard place to get ample tea with great ambience it's 8 times the price but it's worth it and I support them making it a brand and making tea as elegant as coffee. I had ordered gur waali chai, kulhad waala matar kulcha and a piece of cake. After waiting for more than 39 minutes, cold gur waali chai was served which is so ironical in Chaayos. Kulhad wala matar kulcha would have taken some more time. The reason for this very very poor service was that the entire staff was busy catering to online customers. People sitting for Dine-in were sort of " Get lost" attitude. I ended up spending almost 600/- and ironically nothing was served yo me. I request a refund on my order please. Change the staff there.
