The Belgian Waffle Co — Restaurant in Dadri

Extremely disappointing experience at The Belgian Waffle Co, Sector 50 Noida (company-operated store). I visited with my family and was shocked by both the unprofessional behavior and the poor condition of the outlet.

Loyalty Points Issue – I had 705 points (₹705) in my account, and my bill was just over ₹400. The staff refused to redeem the full amount and insisted I could use only ₹50. When I escalated, the store manager Atul got on a call and not only denied the redemption but directly accused me of fraud, saying no customer could have that many points. I informed him that I am also a franchise partner of this brand with multiple stores, and even then, he rudely said in Hindi, "Aapko jo karna hai karo, main itna hi karoonga."

Store Condition – The outlet was dirty and very poorly maintained. There are broken walls, the AC wasn’t working, and it was extremely hot and uncomfortable inside. Even the decorative “Life is Sweet” sign wasn’t lit — the whole atmosphere was unwelcoming.

Behavior & Mismanagement – After connecting a Head Office staff member on a conference call, Atul continued to allege that I was cheating the system. He claimed franchise owners aren’t allowed to use their own numbers (which is not true) and had no response when asked for an official policy restricting point redemption.

I feel insulted, mistreated, and betrayed — not just as a loyal customer, but as a franchise partner. This is not how any customer should be treated, especially not at a company-operated store that’s supposed to set an example.

This kind of behavior and store condition seriously damages the brand’s reputation. I hope the company takes this matter seriously — both for the sake of its customers and for the credibility of its...

The make of the shop is a little less swanky, which is something they can work on. The parking space available outside is not ample as it is an old market, but eventually you will find a spot in case you are not there in the peak time. The vicinity has other eating joints like Chaayos, Theos and a few less popular ones. While I was there, the air conditioner was not working. The staff was polite though & most importantly, the Belgian waffle, the main reason I was there for, was as tasty as ever. So, I am on this spree where I am trying a different Belgian waffle every weekend and all the ones I have tried till date are amazingly awesome. One should go for their tastier and healthier alternative (Almond Flour base), rather than the traditional Flour(Maida) base for an extra 30/- bucks. The Nutella Waffle is a must try. I have a love hate relationship with the waffle. My first ever waffle from Malviya Nagar,Delhi made me swear not to try them ever again.

A quick visit to Mcleodganj a year showed me how wonderful a waffle can be. It was good that I didn't eat another waffle for two years cz the memory was too good.

So ended up ordering from Belgian waffle on a lonely night with crossed fingers and thankfully it was a good experience. One day ordered the mini-pancakes and the next day the triple chocolate waffle.
