Our 5th visit and the food has always lived up to beyond expectations. However, the staff let us down and spoilt our entire experience today. Myself and my wife ordered for a rice, a pork dish and asked recommendations for a prawns starter. The stewardess, Ms Sunita, with a scowl on her face, suggested Prawns Chilli Fry. Now, this item isn't on their menu. We saw Shrimp Chilli Fry costing 875 and enquired of how many pieces would be served, to be answered.. 8 to a plate. Now, she didn't mention even once that her recommendation was a replacement to another similar one costing 1575 bucks. When the bill arrived and I enquired of this, she was adamant in stressing that this was jumbo prawns and not shrimps, as wrongly assumed by us. She started lecturing me on the difference between prawns and shrimps. I calmly told her that, yes we agree to that but she should have informed us that the dish was jumbo prawns costing almost double the price of what we thought we were ordering. I asked her why she didn't inform us, especially since the dish wasn't listed on the menu. She rudely replied it's not her fault. I had already paid the 3k plus bill, not wanting to make it look like we were trying to not pay, but all we asked for was her to give a courteous apology for the mix up, to which she repeatedly said it's not her fault. When we asked for the manager, she said we don't have one. Boss? In London
On insisting she scribbled a number on a paper and almost threw it on our table. On calling and giving a feedback, to someone who might, for all you know, her friend.. a lot of apologies came from that side but even after that, this lady behaved as if she didn't care about customers.
We have eaten in restaurants all over the world, and have rarely experienced such behaviour and lack of etiquette from a staff member, especially when there is a genuine lapse in information sharing from their side. If they are recommending something, how can they assume that I would agree to their most expensive item, that too not on the menu...?
Very disappointed and would urge the management to call for disciplinary action against such rude and...

Improvement needed: Food quality. Very average food. Very high prices for such average food, place, and slow service.
Used dishes in food elevator: A food elevator ferries food and dishes across 3 floors (basement, ground, first) of restaurant. Our food to be served came amidst used dishes kept in the elevator. Our waitress took out our dishes, replaced used dishes from our floor and sent the elevator. Keeping food to be served with used dishes was a BIG TURN OFF for us.
Service Quality & Speed: Service is extremely slow and a bit unprofessional. Food takes long to table. I think it took 40-45 minutes for our food to arrive from the kitchen. Waitresses are sweet & prompt in their capacity, but sort of unable to manage the table. Eg, We had to ask for change of plates to dinner after appetizer and more such small instances.
Ambiance: The decor seemed worn out and old. Turquoise sofas did not really blend with the interior lights. Interior overall needs a heavy and joyful revamp. The space seemed a bit pensive.
Overall, we were disappointed with the experience. Currently, not a place if you are short of time. Definitely not a place for professional meetings.
BUT, I hope the owners will pay heed to the improvement areas over various feedback here. These CAN well be corrected and with the lot of space they have, they can really turn things around. Hope to see a better version of this restaurant with potential. All the...

We visited The Golden Dragon in Sector 44, Noida to celebrate our son’s birthday, and the experience was largely pleasant thanks to the exceptionally warm and attentive staff. Their hospitality truly stood out and made the occasion feel special.
The food was undoubtedly enjoyable — flavorful, well-prepared, and served in generous portions. From starters to mains, each dish carried a consistent taste that left us satisfied.
However, when compared to other specialty or fine-dining restaurants, Golden Dragon does fall short in a few aspects. While the food was good, it lacked that elevated finesse and presentation one often expects from a true specialty dining experience. The ambience, too, felt modest and a bit cramped, with a setup that doesn't quite match the expectations of a celebratory or upscale outing.
That said, for those who value good food and service over frills, it remains a solid choice. With some improvements to the interiors and a touch more refinement in their culinary presentation, this place has great potential to elevate its standing in...
