Berco's — Restaurant in Delhi

I am a regular with Bercos Pitampura (which they don't value). While at my relative's place, I suggested their name for ordering dinner. Since everyone wished to eat from a good restaurant, I instantly suggested Bercos Pitampura because of its consistent taste. I had no idea that this was about to change. We found multiple broomstick pieces in the food. After complaining and a lot of haggling (please note that they didn't offer anything from their side, I had to extract compensation from them) they promised to give me a complimentary starter and a main course dish in my next order. Finally, when I called them up for my next order( since I trusted his words of going through stricter quality checks), they refused to give me two dishes. It became very awkward since I had to ask for a free dish which they had promised. The argument went on for Half an hour and at last, I had to give up because my dinner time was passing by. They were unapologetic and inconsiderate when I said that I would drop my order. There was no call back for an apology or compensation for the whole experience. For a mere 500, besides placing an order nearing 2000 every 3 weeks, I had to go through an insulting experience.

Following this review, I got an apology call from the manager. he assured me that they would look into the quality issues. Trusting Bercos, I made the mistake of ordering again. but it was a mistake paying for another adulterated meal. while chewing rice my son came to me with another big piece of stone comparable to a tooth's size. I have lost my trust once again in Bercos Pitampura. This is for the authorities to look for, what the hell is happening in...

I'm disappointed with this outlet. Over the last few years it's shown a slip down... The first and immediate put-off is the heap of trash and garbage that greet you just about you are about to take the flight of stairs to the common landing on which the restaurant is located. Not the fault of the restaurant at all but that simply is not inviting. The ambience inside has nothing much to talk home about and leaves a lot to be desired. Things are coming apart/down and it has started giving a run-down look. The furniture and upholstery, including the cutlery need and urgent upgrade to restore the status this restaurant ought to carry looking at its other outlets. The staff here are courteous and friendly, but need more polishing and refinedness. When you leave it doesn't give you a sense of fulfilment, or that satisfaction of having had an evening out.

Surpsisingly the food is good, better than many upmarket places. The balance of spices keeps the tanginess levels and the palate comfortable. Their virgin mojito was quite refreshing; sadly the pitcher lacked the quality of an upmarket presentation. Thier fruit beer served in a mug - great! The presentation of the dishes and the dishing cutlery need a serious revamp. Overall though, no complaints about the food, and that's why I rate it with 3-stars.

Definitely not a place where you can have a celebratory outing. Just a casual do is just about what one can go there for. It left me wishing that I had gone to their 'upmarket' siblings!

And I'm surprised they still charge a service charge (whatever % is immaterial) contrary to...

BEWARE CUSTOMER - GENUINE REVIEW

Food is good , ambience is good. Staff is not knowledgeable and its a strict NO NO for the people who opt to get offers on dine out or via any other food app. You will be asked to book a table in case you want to avail discounts on total bill of 15 to 20 percent. The customer will book the offer and start taking services. Do remember that offers are valid till the closing time of the restro. Restro closing time as per Dine out is 11 pm but BeRCOS is open till 11:30 pm or 12 AM i.e. beyond there working hours on the dine out app or google or any of the food apps. Customer forgets and even they dont remind that time is passing on and if the customer still enjoys or stays after 11 pm the offers gets disabled automatically on the app and will have to pay full bill without discounts. Ideally they should come and remind the customer that closing time of the restro on dine out is 11 pm and they should inform the customer well in advance to avail the dine out offer on total bill before 11 pm but they do not bother to do so.

DONT FALL FOR THIS SCAM !! NO ONE AT THERE PLACE BOTHERS TO ADMIT OR HELP !!

If you don't want discounts the place is good but in case you have applied discounts via dine out or any other app or booked a table pls avail and pay to them before 11 pm to avoid last minute hassle...
