I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Blue Tokai. On my first visit, I was allowed to bring my pet (shih tzu) inside without any issue, which made me feel welcome. However, when I visited again with my mother and my pet, I was abruptly told to leave because pets were not allowed.

When I mentioned that I had previously been allowed in with my pet, the staff was rude and dismissive instead of offering any explanation or courtesy. The inconsistency in your policies and the unprofessional attitude of your staff left a very negative impression.

I walked out and went to Tim Hortons, where both I and my pet were welcomed without any problem. If other cafés can treat their customers with respect and clarity, I don’t see why Blue Tokai cannot.

Until this attitude changes, I won’t be returning — and I’ll make sure others know how poorly your staff...

I dropped by this specialty coffee shop and had an iced mocha with regular milk — absolutely incredible. The freshness of the roasted beans really comes through, and the mocha itself isn’t sweet, which I loved. It had a bold, smooth espresso flavor with just the right touch of chocolate — super well-balanced and refreshing.

Only downside today was that 2 out of the 3 AC units weren’t working, so it was a bit warmer than ideal inside. Still, the quality of the coffee easily made up for it. Definitely a spot I’ll be...
