It was raining on tuesday night and we wanted to have some rolls at the roll tiger located in the open area. Since it was impossible to savor the same in the rains, we walked into burger King located just upstairs.
#ambiance : 3 The entrance was covered with insects. Some of them even came near our food while eating. Better management needed for pests and cleanliness. I found that much better look can be done in such a large space. The joint was nearly empty with 2 other tables occupied.
#service : 3 Standard qsr style.
#food : 3.5 Chicken keema burger : very crunchy and very tasty. A good innovation and you can try the same instead of whopper Veg snacker : really good concept. The filling was a bit sweet for me. A recipe tweak is needed to make it better Veg chilly cheese : spicy cheese and jalapeno patty. Very delicious. Must try
#value for money :3.5 In 3 ppl we ate for total of 500. Very economical though not the cheapest. Good for once a while treat. An alternative for McD at 50% higher prices.
I found the food to be well made. If only more cleanliness can be maintained at the store it will certainly draw...
Read moreBurgers here are not exceptional, but the price at what they offer them makes them really worth. I have never looked for anything apart from the Whopper because it's a great catch at that price. In addition, these guys are always coming up with exciting combos, which will definitely entice you.
Ambiance: It's decent if you just have to eat and go. You won't exactly like to sit there for extended time. But it's probably because you get a lot of families heading here.
Burgers: The Whopper is definitely what you should go for. I'm a vegetarian, but a friend had Fiery Chicken and was pleased with the taste. Even if you want to go for budget burgers, Crispy Chicken and Crispy Veg are quite decent.
Drinks: I just love their thick shakes. You can take any flavor and you will love it. Apart from that, the floats are good to go when you are short on the pocket.
Side Orders: Go for the fiery onion rings, coz they are delicious. Also, I just love those Cheesy Italian Fries.
PS, their chocolate sundae is cheap...
Read moreAs it competes with McD, comparison with it comes naturally. Nevertheless, I'll try my best to review Burger King unbiased.
Being of McDonald's timeless "McAloo tikki", it was my first experience at Burger king. I took the entry meal option (veg burger, pepsi and fries). The burger was good. Fries was as the same as available in any fast food joint. The tikki was crispy and tasty. Now the comparison: both of the burgers (McD and burger king) have their unique taste resulting from their combinations of sauces, fluffiness of the bun, and the tikki. Although, the bun of BK can't rival the heavenly softness of McD's (and McD's mustard sauce has no match either), but I must say, I wasn't disappointed and would love to experiment with other burgers and meal options available at BK.
The only thing I disliked, was the shabbiness of the place. most of the vacant tables were not clean, and floor was also littered with packing paper etc. Burger King, this is one thing you can definitely...
