Gola Sizzlers l Pacific Mall l NSP — Restaurant in Delhi

I went here during lunch time. We were 2 people.

From the get go, I don't know the staff was very weird.

The waitress was slamming the glasses on our table and pouring the water so carelessly.

Even when the dishes came, they slammed it onto the table.

Their staff needs better training.

It being lunch time, they were gossiping amongst themselves and not really looking out if guests wanted anything. I had to call the waiter 4 times before he noticed.

Coming to the food, it was average at best. I ordered chilli chicken. 5/10. It was normal and felt kind of microwaved. The chicken also felt plasticky.

French fries were HORRENDOUS. Ordered plain classic salted fries with some parmesan on top.

Their fries were those frozen ones. They weren't even cooked properly. They were undercooked from the inside. And they didn't know what parmesan is???? They put mozzarella cheese on top.

They could've conveyed they didn't have parmesan. I'd have agreed and ordered something else. I didn't want mozzarella cheese on my fries.

I also ordered dimsums. Which took an awfully long time to come and they were so underwhelming.

It took a good 20-23 mins to come and they felt so bad. The cream cheese ones were kinda sour. Felt like these cheese was near expiry. I couldn't eat more than 1 piece.

And the chicken dimsums were equally bad. Their taste also felt off.

Coming to the condiments: the chilli oil, momos chutney and the oil + spring onion sauce

I don't know from how long it was kept there. It was solid. Even the waiter had to stir it because it looked suspicious to him as well before serving.

1/10. Horrendous experience with gola sizzler. Never...

We were a party of 6. The manager wrote my name at 8:17pm and asked us to wait for 20 minutes. After waiting for 45 minutes I was offered a table on the 1st floor even though I asked them to provide me a table on the ground floor. I was asked to wait at least 30 minutes more for a table on the 1st floor. After patiently waiting for at least another 45 minutes, I still did not get a table. Upon asking the manager I was told to wait just 5 more minutes. While I was waiting, a party of 10 was given a table. The manager started to lie that the larger party forced their way to the table but it was cleary a lie. Another manager showed up and asked us to wait another 5 minutes. He even seated another party of 4on a table for 6 when I was standing next to him waiting for the same table. When I confronted the managers, one of them started to misbehave and even had the audacity to stare at me. He even tried to push my husband and was sent to the back by his senior. He even took out his phone and started to dial a number to try and scare us. Me and my family waited for almost 1.5 hour and was not given a table. The manager was very rude and did not have the slighest regard of my patience. I used to come to Gola Sizzler, NSP at least twice a month. Never coming back to this place. The place has no sense of order. At least 15 people were given...

I went with my family (13 people) to gola sizzlers and we were excited but when we reached there the waiting was for 1 hour, ok no problem

We wait for 45 mins and ask how much time is left and then they reply "it will take time" (Meanwhile they called the person who had this register entry about 10 lower than us)

After 15 more minutes, that is 1 hour.... We ask again and they say "we told you it would be 1 hour 30 mins" but we're 100% sure they said "1 hour" before this and then when we asked again after about 10 mins, they said "we would not be able to give table to you" Tata bye bye

The problem:-

1. we were ready to split into more than 1 table, there were so many tables for 6 and they gave tables to lot of groups of 6 when we were already waiting
2. The problem isn't the 1 hour waiting, it's making us wait and still not giving, they could've told earlier too
3. extremely bad experience, 1 hour might not seem long in words but is extremely long when you're hungry
4. we asked a few other places too, they clarified then n there only that it wouldn't be possible and therefore we didn't have to wait

The reason I am giving it 3 stars and not 1 is that i went 2-3 times before that time too and that time, the experience was good..... So basically, its good if your group is less than 6 but not if your groups is...
