Holiday Inn is one of the finest properties near Noida and we are glad that the hotel strives constantly to bring something worthwhile to its patrons making sure they stay for long and have a time of their life! This time they have come out with their Mediterranean food festival at their premium restaurant Café on 3! Serving some of the finest Mediterranean dishes, we decided to give this fest a try and here is our verdict!
Located on the 3rd floor, this restaurant has a serene vibe to it with vibrancy filling up the spaces. The place has been strategically designed ensuring a major chunk of space towards seating and the remaining towards the kitchen and live counters! Some of the starters that we gorged upon had sumac chickpea salad, pork ham and melon salad, sumac fish salad with fennel, achari paneer tikka, kesari murgh tikka, vegetable makloubeh, mujaddara, a kind of Arabic lentil with rice, Shawarma served with moutabel, tzatziki, tabbouleh, and hummus as assorted dips! The mains comprised of zatar and garlic roasted potato, chicken kabsa, traditional Arabic chicken and rice, samak harra, baked fish marinated with spicy harisa paste, lamb tagine, lamb stew with prunes and apricot, bhindi do pyaja, kofta curry subz zeera, murg dum biryani, mutton rogan josh and finally the meal ending on a sweet note with chocolate mousse pastry, raspberry mousse, chocolate mud slice and omali, a perfect Mediterranean dessert!
The food was amazing. We started our journey with shawarma with slowly moving towards every starter served. We loved their chickpea salad which had a distinct sweet and sour taste that tantalized our taste buds to the core! We tried the combination of ham and melon for the very first time and we sure were totally in awe of it! the sweetness in the melon and the slight spiciness of the masala sprinkled over it enhanced the flavour of the salad. Paneer was decent with a unique blend of spices used in its marination and preparation. The chicken was again very nice with an even marination and crispy outside and a squishy inside and the flavour of saffron along with its texture was simply mesmerizing. However the highlight among the starters was the shawarma having a distinct taste altogether and very different from the regular street food! Even the mains were something very unique especially baked fish, chicken kabsa and biryani! One could actually feel the authentic favour of spices! Omali, is one dessert, which we had for the very first time and was a true gem and a must have for sure!
All in all, the place is superb with super scrumptious food. The festival is on till 30th of June only and comes with a decent price tag of 1750++ per person which is a steal deal and shold not be...

Thus avoiding the discomfort of selecting the Thursday night or Friday night calculations. 🕎 The place has a with placed and relatively comfortable seating area, with comfortable seating making it a soothing atmosphere to enjoy the meal. They have decorated the place with not too loud, and gentle wooden walls, with curves to avoid echo and have made this place a 5/5 especially for those who love to have their meal with the lived ones. 🍱 When I visited the place, they had organized a small festival, Awadh Festival, celebrating their delicacies as a part of starters , such as Sabs Eh Gulati- Gulati being made from a combination of varied vegetables. Which was gracefully crafted by the chef and was quite mouth watering as an appetizer.
🥛- As A part of the festival, they served Almond milk, Lassi, Gol Gappas, with many more dishes from Awadh to start from, and among those I must say, they took proper care in making each dish, being Almond milk made soo perfectly, it was a delight to have a glass of it in the beginning itself. 🥡 Among many other dishes served by them, Few of my favorite were: 🍍-Annanas biryani, a sweet and pleasant rice made and cooked with Pineapple being the flavoring essence and with few pieces of it making it more ful-filled. 🥘-Paneer Makhani, with the most soft and delicious piece of Paneer, the dish made by chef is savoury and a very much enjoyable dish if you are too a naan person like me. 🍹-Accompanied by the most gracious meal, they serve one of the BEST drinks, mine being Orange Ice Tea! 🍮-Without a proper ending with dessert, I feel a place is always lags, BUT this is not the case here, they served soo many varieties of sweet options, like MALPUA with RABRI , Fresh Fruit Custard, Date and Chocolate slice, Berry Mango Mascarpone, among a dozen more option to have!
✨The place has many colours to impress you with, it would be an evening with delight and delicious food here. Cheers ;) Zomato@amanarya Insta@highonkhana TripAdvisor@highonkhana #HighOnKhana Google Guide Reviews...
Read morePeople go to hotels to book a room for traveling purpose and keep an assumption that only those who are staying in the hotel can come and have their food.
But there are some who are changing the thought process by having various events to let people come, dine in and taste the hard work done by their chefs for all guest.
Holiday Inn is changing this by having various specialist food fests in their Dine-In Restaurant come Bar place called Café on 3 and it is located on the third floor too.
We hear about the Chettinad food fest organized by Holiday Inn and we mark our presence to taste the best by them.
First impression at the entrance of Hotel made by their security checks and at all the entrance when we greeted by “Namaste”. Accha Laga yaar!!!
Then Richa welcomed us and we were seated in one of the best place from where we were able to see their entire big giant Buffett and live presentation.
We started our Chettinad food journey with Kuttu Paranthas. Served in small plates and felt unique to go by taste.
Then we go for their Fry but chettinad style starter with big list start with various Papad, Banana chips, Chakli, baby corn and cauliflower etc…
The taste was so different by having 6 types of various Pachdi (chutney) of beetroot, Mango (my favorite), pineapple, mint and something made of rice.
To let this adjust in our tummy we had Lemonade and Fruit flavor mocktail and the taste was superb…
To end the starter section we had Kuji Paniyaram also known as “Paddu”
Ab bari aayi main course ki and we go light with Lemon Rice, Laccha Parantha with Shahi Panner. Also to taste differently we had plain rice with vegetable in Chinese gravy. A very small portion with single piece of Chicken Biryani too tried. I was suggested to have Aslam Chicken and the chef asks us to wait for another 20 minutes to have their specialty on table. Meanwhile we were so much of dessert and the availability of the options was so huge that you can’t miss any of them but can’t eat all as well. Tummy toh apni hai…
At last after the wait we got served the Aslam Chicken and it was so amazingly present that zeal reaches to taste reaches sky. The chicken pieces were succulent, juicy and the aroma was in AIR. The taste was marvelous and the wait was worth paid off. Special thanks to the chef to have delicious but itna saara khana.
You people made our dinner and...
