Changezi Chicken in Daryaganj is a well-known spot for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Mughlai cuisine in a clean and comfortable environment. The restaurant is neat and hygienically maintained which is a major plus in the busy and often chaotic lanes of Old Delhi. The staff are courteous, attentive, and manage the crowd efficiently even during peak hours. The seating arrangement is decent and suitable for both families and groups. As the name suggests, their signature Chicken Changezi is a must-try and lives up to expectations with its rich, creamy, and mildly spiced gravy that goes well with both naan and rice. The Chicken Korma is another great option, slow-cooked with aromatic spices and tender chicken pieces that melt in your mouth. The biryani served here is flavorful, with a balanced blend of spices and juicy meat, and is not overly oily or heavy. Portion sizes are reasonable and the pricing is fair for the quality and quantity of food offered. The service is fast and the food is always served hot and fresh which adds to the overall positive dining experience. The restaurant also maintains good packaging for takeaways which makes it a reliable choice for home orders as well. Whether you’re visiting Daryaganj for the first time or are a regular in the area, Changezi Chicken is highly recommended if you want to indulge in quality Mughlai food in a clean setting with friendly service. It delivers both on taste and ambience, making it one of the better choices in this...
Read moreThis was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. The food was cold. The service was painfully slow and the staff was not interested in assisting customers or even take the order we asked for assistance then he came and took the order that to after 15 to 20 mins. To top it off, the restaurant was unclean, with dirty tables, The atmosphere was chaotic and noisy, The restaurant looked rundown with uncomfortable seating. Finally we ordered the restaurant signature dish Changezi chicken the staff said it will take minimum 20 minutes to serve, After 20 mins they serve us salad with smelling onion and green chatni, finally after 40 minutes of waiting time they serve there signature dishes but without roti when we asked the manager and staff (ADIL) where is the roti, he told we are giving after long waiting he gave just one roti on our table saying start the food we will keep giving but this was just not the end, the same thing start happening on all the table. On asking where is the roti, ADIL said us rudely we are helpless, staff is alone can’t give khameeri roti take romali roti on asking for the same this was also not given on time. Finally we left the place without eating food and left the restaurant.
Definitely not worth and worst service ever seen
Its better to visit some good restaurant in area instead...
Read moreSo firstly food tastes very good. I will keep that aside. But a restrau is not only a good place to eat becaise it has good food, but food should come hot, food should come on time and the whole order should come not 30 minutes apart. This is not first time, but every time theystart getting your order atleast 20 mins late. One dish will come which they assume is your starter. And then another dish will come after 20 mints ( not kidding ). And by this time ur hangry. And to top it all, the roti is old, microwaved. As per the staff, it was quick to get this roti, coz to get a fresh one he will have to go and get it from the kitchen. Yepp he has to get it, instead of the customer. Bizzarre right ?. Owner does not care, the staff does not care. I think because they might be getting customers regularly. But because customers pay they should atleast deserve their food hot and on time. And this should be highlighted. Owner has been told about this multiple times. Staff and owner always have rebuttals, they never accept their mistake, which is a shame. But who am i ? A...
