My connection with Deez goes back to the late 80s when my sister recommended this place to us. So people would be surprised to see a one star review. Back then and till I would say 2018 this was the go to place for us for any Briyani. We even sent it to the UK once. We ordered chicken biryani in Feb 2023, I ordered 2 kgs for the three of us as we thought we would save some for later. From the very first bite it was immediately noticeable how much their standards have fallen. It tasted worse then chicken curry and rice mixed together. There was no taste whatsoever in it. From what I understand the original chefs have left the place and now they have hired some part timers. Deez serves delicious chicken and mutton biryanis with many styles like lakhnawi, muradabadi, hyderabadi, pakistani etc. The portions are small and a regular handi of chicken/mutton biryani will be enough for a single person only. After long time I had craving of biryani, someone suggested me to order it from DeeZ biryani. Could be my bad luck of its their best biryani they served.
