Arabian Delites — Restaurant in Delhi

When it comes to Lebanese, Arabian Delites is unparalleled winner in the league. Famous for their Doner Kebabs, Skinned Grilled Chicken, JoJo and Hummus they have served us perfection every time.

Recently, I went to their Defence Colony flyover market and wishing to try something new, beside their USP, I was suggested to try their CHICKEN PLATTER PERFECT. I must say, it's a perfect meal platter that has almost everything together for a Foodie like me. This platter will comprise of:

½ Grilled Chicken (4 pieces) with skin: I simply love the Lebanese spices crispy skin on the top of the moist juicy delicious chicken inside. Something I can blindfoldedly make out for Arabian Delites. Simply perfect every time we eat them.

½ JoJo: Boneless chicken Pieces on wooden skewer marinated with Arabic herbs and grilled. Simply spectacular.

½ Hummus: I simply think that they serve us the real Hummus. The peanut and chickpea are in absolute perfect proportion to serve us coarse nutty hummus that is finger licking good. You can easily make out their pea-nutty flavors, which generally is Missing nowadays in other restro hummus.

1 Chicken Doner: The Flame Toasted Chicken Breast and Thigh on the straight Rotisserie that is sliced, chunked and served in Khubz topped with hummus, fine lettuce and rolled over. This roll has nothing saucy, yet it has distinct flavors that are delicious.

1 Khubz: A flat bread that is the base of your Doner and you can have it along with JoJo or Grilled Chicken. These are flatter than Pita and their in house make.

Turshi: Their signature tangy carrot, radish, jalapeno, beetroot Arabic pickle is to die for and I always ask for 1 pack extra.

This overall platter is worth ordering as it has everything in-house that one like to have from them. Value for money and sufficient for 2 hungry souls.

A few days ago, I had the pleasure of ordering the JoJo Chicken Kebab from Arabian Delites at Flyover Market, Defence Colony, for dinner via Zomato. From start to finish, my experience was exceptional.

Delivery Experience: The delivery was timely, and the packaging was impeccable. The kebabs arrived hot, fresh, and beautifully packed, reflecting the attention to detail and care Arabian Delites puts into its food.

Food Quality: The JoJo Chicken Kebab was nothing short of amazing. The kebabs were succulent, tender, and perfectly marinated. The seasoning was spot-on, with the right balance of spices that didn’t overpower the natural flavor of the chicken. The char-grilled flavor gave it an authentic touch, making each bite a delight. The skewers were packed neatly, ensuring that the kebabs remained intact and juicy.

Accompaniments: Along with the kebabs, I received fresh Kubboos, crisp sliced onions, and a tangy chutney. The Kubboos was soft and warm, complementing the kebabs perfectly. Additionally, the inclusion of some amazing English pickles added a unique twist to the meal, providing a delightful burst of tanginess that paired wonderfully with the richness of the kebabs.

Overall Experience: Arabian Delites has always been known for its quality, and this experience only reinforced that reputation. The JoJo Chicken Kebab is a must-try for anyone who loves authentic, flavorful, and perfectly cooked kebabs. I highly recommend Arabian Delites for their top-notch service and mouth-watering food. If you've followed me for long, you would know that we are huge fan of Lebanese/Mediterranean/Turkish/Arabic cuisine and as soon as we discover a new joint serving some lip smacking Mediterranean food, we make sure we grab a bite to evaluate if they can match the standards. There are a very few outlets in Delhi that can do justice to this cuisine. Thankfully today our choice was fruitful.

Located in the underflyover market of Defence colony in South Delhi(also popularity called the nirula's market, even though Nirula's closed down long ago), this promising outlet made sure our grub was delivered well in time. The delivery was smooth and the runner was courteous,even though he had to wait for us for about 5 minutes.

We Wanted to have variety so we chose the Chicken Platter Perfect, which had a lil bit of everything and was aptly priced too for the large portion they served. The platter had half a portion of their signature grilled chicken, which is slow roasted to perfection in the rotisserie with just the marination of their in house Arabic herbs. It also had half a portion of their succulent Jojo kebabs which were served on a skiwear again marinated in their secret herbs and a portion of their classic chicken donner which was fabulous indeed.
