A Flavorful Delight in Defence Colony - Street Side Punjabifood Haven! I recently visited a street side eatery in Defence Colony, Delhi, and it's a must-try for any lover of Punjabi cuisine. The highlight was undoubtedly the incredibly creamy paneer sabji. Each bite was a burst of flavors, making it a memorable experience. The naan deserves a special mention – one serving comes with three generously sized pieces, perfect for savoring the delectable curry. The meal is complemented by a side of fresh salad and a delightful minty chutney, enhancing the overall dining experience. However, it's worth noting that being a street side eatery, there might be occasional lapses in kitchen ethics. Vegetarians should be aware that the staff may accidentally mix serving spoons, but for the fantastic flavors, it's a compromise worth considering. In conclusion, if you're in Defence Colony and craving authentic Punjabi delights, this street side eatery is a hidden gem. Embrace the vibrant street food experience and indulge in the richness of their creamy paneer sabji – you won't be disappointed!

Want to have the best shawarma in Delhi? Then this is a place which you can't miss. Think of a shawarma big enough that you can't even hold it properly and as you grab a bit of it, chicken dropping from the other side. My god, I hope that's enough to make you drool and don't worry you are not the only one right now. Apart from serving par excellence shawarma, they have a wide variety of cuisines which you can try without doubting the taste. It's not that only the chicken lovers should have all the fun. They also serve paneer and soya shawarma so here the vegans can also relish the taste of shawarma with a twist. They don't have a proper sitting, but if you want to enjoy your food in a sweet weather then grab your stuff and sit on the platform in front of the outlet; a proper feeling of street food. -- Follow us on Instagram and Zomato "Lipsmackingfoodcommunity"

Really liked the shawarma here. I have been a big fan of shawarma and have visited Al Bake at New Friends Colony to have some. Recently I visited this place and I feel the shawarma here is a better deal. The shawarma is little bigger in size when compared to Albake. The only reason for 4 star rating is the lack space. Neither there is seating nor a proper parking spot nearby. The roads around the outlet are a bit congested. They do deliver to your car, but you will have to wait for your turn depending on the number of cars. But if you place your order on your own, which we ended up doing, the service was very quick with just a few minutes of waiting time.

We had the chicken shawarma and hari mirch chicken tikka. The shawarma was pretty good. I liked it with the green chutney, not so much with the mayonnaise. I do think that I have eaten a little better somewhere but most likely you wouldn't be disappointed. The hari mirch tikka was good too but it's not something I'd regularly eat. It seemed more like a novelty item which you can try after you are bored with the regular items. All in all it was a good experience. I did absolutely hate the booming clanking sounds the shawarma maker made with his knifes but oh well, that's part of the deal.

Concept Shwarma located under the Defence Colony Lajpat Nagar Flyover is a prominent Takeaway joint serving their Specialty Shwarma Rolls and othe Indian and Mughlai cuisine. Over the years the quality of food has deteriorated to the lowest. The food is cooked under extremely unhygienic conditions especially now during COVID period. They served me Tawa Chicken which was so extremely spicy that even a pig will not eat. Moreover the Chicken was raw and half cooked probably because it's a weekend and food was cooked in a rush. Pathetic service and definitely not recommended. AVOID

The place is crowded, however food quality is sacrificed due to lots of orders. Ordered stuffed soya chap, after tasting it was realised that the chaap is uncooked. Immediately the same was informed to their staff, however after a lot of arguing they accepted the same. They took the plate & after 5 mins the same plate was returned. The experience was not good & I recommend everyone to avoid chaap items from their menu. As you will feel disappointed after having the same.
