Visited this vegetarian restaurant located in Adchini for lunch with friends.
They have ample seating area on ground floor as well as first floor. We found their hospitality very amazing, service was quick and staff was courteous.
Here are some of the things we tried and really liked from this outlet :
-Govardhan Special dosa : This is their special dosa and it was made with a mix of aloo-paneer masala and was topped with lots of dry fruits, served with sambhar, chutney and more sabji. It's a must try.😇
-Crispy Fried vegetables : Mix vegetables were fried and assorted in a sauce similar to schezwan, tasted amazingly well.😁
-Soya chaap tikka: I really liked how this starter was cooked, not too soft not too hard and it was made in delicious chatpata spices. A wonderful starter item.
-Kaju masala: This is a main course item, and one of their speciality, i have never had something like this anywhere else, it's a wonderful treat to your taste buds.
-Amristari Kulcha platter : This platter contained pieces of kulcha stuffed with aloo and served with chole, dal, raita, papad and gulab jamun. I felt quantity wise it was very good. Two people can share it. 😇
-Dahi ke sholay : The dahi ke sholays were so perfect, they were crispy and yet melted in the mouth, it's a must try 😇.
-In drinks we tried fruit punch, virgin mojito, Butter milk and sweet lassi. All the drinks were refreshing and tasted amazing with the delicious food.
Our experience at this outlet was splendid, it's a perfect place for people who enjoy vegetarian food. They have a vast menu to choose from and almost everything that we had tasted amazing, quantity and portion size was also good. A definite recommendation to go here with your...
Read moreWe chose this place for a hearty anniversary meal, but it turned out to be a terrible mistake.
We ordered the Tandoori Sampler and a Chinese Combo. Here's what we got:
The Tandoori Sampler had one piece of tasteless Paneer Tikka, rubbery Chap, burnt Tandoori Aaloo, and a bitter Kabab. Even the naan was overly chewy.
A basic dish like Dal Makhni was shockingly average.
The Chinese Combo fared no better. The noodles were bland, and the Manchurian balls were served in what could only be described as onion soup. The only thing remotely decent was the spring rolls.
To make matters worse, every single item was served cold. When we inquired, their "Senior Manager, David," casually said, "During winters, food is expected to be cold." Adding insult to injury, when we pointed out that the Manchurian gravy was just onion soup, he claimed, "This is the standard recipe everywhere, and Manchurian is supposed to be like this." His dismissive attitude and ignorance make him a liability in the hospitality industry.
This experience was nothing short of humiliating. Seasoned Diners certainly deserve better and knowledgeable responses from people on Managerial position.
I genuinely wish there were an option for negative stars. If you're considering this place, think again.
Pathetic is the only...
Read moreIt's a hidden gem which can go unnoticed on the busy adchini road , serving delicious South Indian food ( their u.s.p) along with North Indian as well as Chinese . Extremely pocket friendly , food for soul , easy to locate on the main road , neat and clean .
It's a very old casual dining restaurant whose South Indian food is not over hyped but should be . Fresh Sambar , light crispy dosas , fresh and light idlis are dished out, here throughout the day . Their South Indian is not overtly spicy and never causes inflammation on sensitive stomachs . Extremely pocket friendly with warm staff , it's a must try place for all the South Indian food lovers !
They also serve Chinese and North Indian food to cater everyone's tastebuds . We almost never pass adchini without stopping here , as my mum does not enjoy fancy pastas and oriental dishes , coffees , subs and sandwiches a lot . She's always looking for options that are lighter on stomach and more suited to her Indian palette .
Must try : Idli sambhar , Butter Masala Dosa , Dahi vada ( super awesome , my favourite) , Filter coffee ,...
