MONA CAVA CAFE AND PUB — Restaurant in Delhi

I recently visited Mona Cava, a bar located in [insert location here], and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Despite it being a weekend, there were barely any customers present, and the atmosphere felt dull and lackluster. However, what was most surprising was the fact that despite the lack of crowd, the menu was quite expensive.

Adding to the disappointment was the complete lack of any view from the bar, which was particularly surprising given its location. The bar was small and closed off, with no natural light or outdoor seating area to offer any respite.

Furthermore, my entry into the bar was met with a disappointing incident. The guard at the gate refused to let me in initially, simply because I was wearing slippers and not shoes. It was only after he saw the car that I had arrived in that he relented and allowed me to enter. It's disappointing to know that they still judge people on the basis of what they wear, and such a policy is unwelcoming and disconcerting for customers.

In conclusion, I wouldn't recommend Mona Cava to anyone looking for a welcoming and inviting atmosphere. The expensive menu, lack of crowd, and no view make for a disappointing experience, and the dress code policy only adds to the unpleasantness. As someone who enjoys smoking, the fact that Mona Cava allows indoor smoking is a major plus for me. The ambience here is truly one of a kind, with great music playing every time I visit. It adds to the overall relaxed vibe, making it an ideal spot to unwind.

I visited my 'favourite place' last night to bring in my bday. Entered at around 10 pm and left at around 1ish. I gave the DJ the request for my karaoke song at around 10.15. Well guess what, despite going to him around 10 times and requesting him, my turn never came. I get that it was a busy night but despite me asking him to please just let me have one number because it was my birthday party, he didn't seem to really give 2 hoots. Maybe he didn't believe me. But what really gets me is that I was there for atleast 3 hours and my turn 'never came' because the DJ blatantly flouted the serial order of requests written in his book, while HE sang with his buddies and friends. 😂 Oh well, thank you DJ for ruining my birthday karaoke experience. I've usually had the time of my life at Mona Cava on other days when the other DJ is present but you my karaoke DJ friend, really need to learn to listen to your regulars and especially make concessions for people's birthdays.
