When it comes to dining out with family there are not many restaurants. My parents have loved sitting in nice cosy restaurants with great ambience but away from fusion food and cafes. This time I took them to Waves at Adchini which boasts of a multi cuisine menu and offers nice, cosy, comforting food as well as ambience. The 15 year old restaurant welcomed me and my family with an artistic ambience with different elements across different walls. Exotic lampshades and brick walls added the charm and another décor item was colourful plates on walls. I dined for lunch and the restaurant was full with foreigners and Indians having a great time over yummy food, conversations and laughter. The smile on their face meant that everything was great which made me proud of my choice. The seating was in the mix of blue and beige and we made our selective picks from the vast choice of food items in the menu. Seeing the Chatpatte Chaat section, we could not resist ordering Golpappa platter. The dish came with pre prepared golgappe with a stuffing of boiled chana, chopped onion, vermicelli, coriander, mint and tamarind sauce. Loved the burst of flavours. Bhatti ka Murg is a speciality here and I loved the taste as soon as I took the first bite. Burnt garlic, yoghurt, exotic spices did extend a great taste exceeding our expectations for more dishes to come. The Khaas Seekh Kabab were not only presented well but get full marks on aroma and flavour too. The Paneer Basil Tikka came with its own unique margination and basil did work its magic on cottage cheese cubes which were relishable. From the Oriental Starters section our pick was Chicken Pepper Salt. The deep fried diced chicken tossed in ginger, garlic, red chillies and crushed bell pepper came with finely chopped trio bell pepper and left our tastebuds with a pleasurable experience. Chicken Dimsums which were served in the dimsum basket along with hot sauce had a generous stuffing of chicken which made us happier. I found the Oriental Sweet Corn to be a little spicy but if you tell the servers to make it lightly spiced then they would do the needful. The Sweet Corn Coriander Soup extended flavours, warmth and nutrition. For mocktails our pick was Elephant Charger, the lime n lemony drink energised all our senses while Pinberry took us to a beach with its presentation and flavours. It had a blend of pineapple, blueberry and orange. My recommendation for sure! Italian smooch would again be a recommended mocktail which is juicy yet fizzy with lots of lime. Loved the taste and the fusion! For main course, we tried Murgh Tikka Lababdar. The succulent chargrilled chicken tikka impressed us again which were tossed in a tangy gravy. Full marks to this one! Dal Makhani was made to perfection with thick consistency and aromatic flavours. Masala Papad came rolled in a cone shape stuffed with finely chopped onion, tomatoes and green chillies. For breads we tried Tandoori Roti, Roomali and Butter Naan. For desserts, we ordered Gulab Jamun but were confused which ice cream to pick from Vanilla , Chocolate and strawberry so we asked the server for 1 scoop each and enjoyed all the flavours of the sundae! If you are dining for dinner don’t be surprised to see live singing happening which takes place every day from 8 to 11 PM except Tuesdays. They also have buffet which can be booked for a private gathering of 30-40 people. Overall a great experience which was loved by me and my family. Overall a great experience which was loved by me and my family. Afterall its Masterchef Vijaylaxmi who has extended her magical touch to the menu for making it even more superb. Vijaylaxmi: It was a pleasure meeting you and getting to know more about your Masterchef Season 2 journey.

Waves is very near to SDA metro station as well as Hauz Khas metro station. Its a vefy comfortable place where you could go with your friends and families. I was there with my friends and we wanted to have north Indian food. We were taken aback by the taste of food as it was yumm. We loved the food. We had golgguppa plaater which was refreshing to the palate, murgh tikka and murgh malai tikka both were relishing with properly cooked chicken, chicken dimsums were good too, dahi ke kebabs and chilly paneer were yumm too. The main course included dhaba murgh which was the highlight ,paneer lababdar with garlic naan and pineapple raita. The meal had to be ended wih desserts. We had gulab jamun with ice cream and chocolate ice cream. The best part about the ice creams wer that it was not that sugary. They have introduced mintanine energy drink which was refreshing too. The staffs were very cordial and helpful.

Location good and ramp entry also available, parking can get a bit of trouble depending on your time and day of visit, ambience good and gets better with live choice of old and new Bollywood music Separate restrooms for males and females clean and odour free. Male restroom could be difficult for people with disabilities in climbing stairs. Seating was comfortable but some chairs need a bit of fabric repairs as thread seam was coming out. Let's get to the food, we ordered an all vegetarian menu (North Indian & Chinese) with desserts. From starters to main course to desserts, it was served with great hospitality (you might just have to tell the staff to serve once) and great taste. Like most good restaurants, this restaurant levy 10% service charge but worth the service that you expect.

It's great place to have tasty food Located next to sarvodaya Enclave On main road Parking is short but one can still get cat parked Entry to restaurant is bit in compared to others restaurant nearby The place is calm and quite inside Service of food is great Prices are high as per the maintenance of the place You get TV screens for matches or sports playing. For drinks and chicken it's best place. Mostly they have foreign customers who come with local guide. One cannot get any good restaurant with high level standard at this locality. One has to always reserve seats in advance specially for dinners. At night there always a singer playing with his band which most if the time is annoying because most people wanna eat food enjoy the place in less chaotic manner special with outdated and poor choice of tracks Playing. But that very from people to people. If you have not tried this place then definately you should for it's food ,drinks ,variety and the chosy...
