πŸ’šπŸ’ Habitat Hub at Indian Habitat Centre: A Shift in Vibe and Experience πŸ½οΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ Previously known as the American Diner, Habitat Hub has undergone a transformation at the Indian Habitat Centre. While changes can often bring excitement, it seems that some of the previous charm has faded away. Let's delve into the details of the new Habitat Hub experience: 🍽️ Shift in Ambience: The vibrant red hues of the American Diner have been replaced with a new color scheme featuring shades of green. While the outside sitting area remains the same, the overall ambiance seems to have undergone a significant change. The shift in colors might give a fresh look, but for those who cherished the nostalgic American diner feel, it may be a bit underwhelming. πŸŒˆπŸƒ πŸ‘₯ Service Comparison: It appears that there has been a noticeable difference in the service quality compared to the earlier American Diner days. While it's subjective, and perhaps teething issues are to be expected during transitions, it's disappointing to hear that the service has lost some of its previous appeal. The attentive staff and prompt service that used to accompany the American Diner experience might be missed by loyal patrons. πŸ€πŸΌπŸ•°οΈ ⏳ Longing for the American Diner: The American Diner at Habitat Centre had a certain magic to it. It was a bustling spot, filled with guests, and often had a waiting list just to secure a seat. In situations where space was limited, patrons were provided with high stools or chairs to accommodate everyone. The vibrant atmosphere and the sense of anticipation that accompanied the American Diner experience are now missed by those who cherished those lively moments. πŸ˜πŸ”πŸŽ‰ πŸ˜” A Shift in Charm: It's understandable to feel a sense of loss when a beloved establishment undergoes changes. While Habitat Hub might offer its own unique appeal, some visitors may find it lacking the previous charm of the American Diner. The feeling of stepping into a slice of American culture and enjoying the out-of-the-world experience that the diner provided seems to have faded, leaving behind a somewhat mundane atmosphere. 🌟😒 While change is inevitable, it's natural to reminisce about the bygone era of the American Diner. The new Habitat Hub may have its own merits and appeal, but for those who were captivated by the vibrant ambiance, the bustling crowds, and the lively atmosphere, it's understandable to long for the days of the American Diner. πŸŒ†πŸ½οΈπŸ’” Let's hope that Habitat Hub finds its own identity and manages to recreate the excitement and enthusiasm that once made the American Diner a beloved spot at the Indian Habitat Centre. In the meantime, let's cherish the memories of the American Diner and remember it as a cherished part of the Indian Habitat Centre's history. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ”πŸ’š

It seems like the world had incarcerated when I got to know that all American diner is back in the market. Hello guys, so few weeks ago I visited this outlet which is so close to my heart because during my college days I often used to visit this outlets with my friends. I still remember they used to have splendid burger platters. Awesome memories. Coming back to present, I had just dropped my brother somewhere and while I was driving back home I decided to check whether it is still open or not ? I asked the guard at the entrance and he nodded yes !! I actually felt happiness for the first time in a long time. I reached at the entrance of the outlet and noticed a spark contrast - Earlier there flagship colour was red now it was represented by Green. I went inside and green ambience was ruling it (but totally a typical diner). The outlet has an al fresco seating as well (perfect for winter season). Since it was almost breakfast time I decided to have some lip smacking breakfast platter which consisted of sunny side up, chicken sausages, Mash potatoes on side & a slice of bread. I also ordered a cup of coffee which was so relaxing. Sunny side up tasted delicious as usual (add a pinch of salt n pepper on it and you’ll have a gala time), sausages were fresh and succulent, mash potatoes were tender and nicely done. The only disappointment was the slice of bread which tasted bit harder than the usual slice. About staff and service - The staff was welcoming. They helped me with the menu and service was done on time. No lags or delays. Price - I found the price bit expensive. They can do something about that I am sure. Overall experience - If you’re looking out for something peculiar and new then you can take a chance with this one !!

Housed in India Habitat Centre, this place offers premium breakfast experience and all day dining (both indoor and outdoor). As we don't have culture of outdoor seating, this one being inside IHC with great architecture and ambience looks promising. It's an all day dining restro bar serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. This place used to be American Diner but it has been renamed as Habitat Hub. It is run and managed by Habitat World of India Habitat Centre (IHC). It serves classics, international as well as few trending cuisines from across the world which you might spot while travelling to other countries. Apart from regular classics such as omlettes, burgers, pizzaz, sandwiches, and pancakes, you may try some exotic named food items on the menu such as shaksuka, clibir, crepes, burritos and pies. They also serve breakfast buffet from 7 am to 11 am on weekends. The indoor design is classy and minimalistic. Outdoor has been my favorite but get hot if you reach late from March onwards till August. Our experience has not been great recently. We went on a Sunday at around 10:50 am. The breakfast buffet was about to end by that time so we decided to opt for the other available seating. Wanted to sit indoor but it was full. Upon asking from one of the female staffs about possible availability of indoor seating we got very low and cold reply. May be the staff got over worked or it might have been a bad day for personal reasons. We got one outdoor corner seat. Placed an order which we got in more than half an hour. Food was ok. Would love to try their breakfast buffet sometime. Expect late servings if you sit outside.

Going into the restaurant, I had high hopes due to the location, menu and as it is called Delhi’s favorite breakfast spot. Sad to say that my experience didn’t come even close to my hopes. To start we ordered the veg platter, based on the description I expected something grand. There was nothing grand about the platter. The actual dish looked like somebody assembled at their house and it was not restaurant quality. The platter contained nachos which looked like came from half eaten bag of chips and mozzarella sticks & potatoes triangles all looked like were frozen and just reheated in the kitchen. In the drinks, we ordered the white wine sangria pitcher which was suppose to contain some seasonal fruits. By mistake we got the red wine sangria containing chopped apple, slice of orange and a cinnamon stick, which they happily changed. But instead of the seasonal fruits in our final white sangria contained apple slice of orange and cinnamon stick. It was obvious that they strained the red wine and add the white wine in the same jug and served us. For the main course we order the cottage cheese burger which was disappointing too. Basically a thick piece of panner coated with tones of store bought dressing sitting between the bun. As soon as we picked up the burger, it started falling apart. We also ordered the salmon fish dish which came with vegetables and mashed potatoes as sides. The fish fillet though cooked very nicely was also disappointing as it was really thin piece and was not even through out and really thin from one side. We even ordered the savory crepes and they were good. Finally after such horrible experience we ordered the bagel with cream cheese to fulfill our hunger. Who can mess up bagel with cream cheese? But guess what they were able to do that. The bagel was really hard as it was few days old and the cream cheese was very sour. So over all not a very...
