Lord Of The Drinks — Restaurant in Delhi

The place is located on the second and third floor and thankfully there is a lift. It was a Saturday night and I had just walked in with friends hoping for a quiet dinner and drinks , so I requested for a seat where it would be quieter , the manager smirked and said “ Ma’am it’s Saturday night, you can’t expect it to be quiet !” The music was blaring even when half the place was empty. We went to the small terrace area where the music was less loud but the heat made us come back in. Music is nice but it should not be deafening ! Also you can improve the choice of music if we are forced to listen to only music and have no conversation.

Another big disappointment was that they did not stock the most common beers.That’s not something you expect at the Lord of the Drinks , East or west !

There was a choice of only 4 beers and one white wine. The service was slow and it was difficult to get the attention of the busy waiters over loud noise. The floor manager was busy doing some calculations of his own not really seeing to it that the clients were having a good time. We settled for whatever was available. Coming to food , we had veg tandoori platter which had paneer tikka , malai broccoli ( disgusting ) and dahi ke kebab ( good ) and soya chaap ( ok ) We also had their version of fish n chips which was not so good either - the fish had a stale taste. In the mains we had a paneer gravy , a chicken gravy ( both gravies were identical ) and some naans . The mains was slightly better than the stater.

Indifferent and arrogant management, passable food , limited choice of drinks, blaring recorded music and costly too!
