Louis Burger had taken social media by storm as every other "influencer" was posting regarding their burgers when it launched . Before I ordered from them I made sure to check the reviews by normal customers just to be sure and found that the food they received wasn't anything great and infact presentation/packaging was pretty poor , so I waited sometime before ordering.
I ordered 2 items - The Monster Cheese Burger in Lamb Patty and Truffle Fries . The Truffle fries they have are some of the best . Properly cut big pieces of fries , cooked to perfection with the outer being crisp and the inside being soft and airy . The salt levels in the fries were low , which is absolutely fine and that's the way such fries should be as then the fries would be complimenting the Truffle Mayo which is the condiment it comes with. The Truffle Mayo was great , had a nice strong Truffle fragrance and flavour which I personally enjoyed. People who don't like the pungency of truffle should skip as it is strong. The fries were topped with a good loading of Parmesan Cheese. In the description it says the Truffle fries also come with Shitake Mushrooms, which atleast in my dish weren't present . To be honest it doesn't make sense why Shitake Mushrooms would be there in a Truffle fries and i don't know why that's in the description . The fries (eventhough not accurate to the description) are great eventhough a bit expensive but would still rare 5/5.
The Monster Cheese Burger on the other hand was just decent . Nothing great as one would expect especially for the price and the hype. The Burger had 2 smash patties of lamb (as I chose lamb) which were decently juicy but not too flavourful. The Cheddar cheese used in the burger actually was overpowering the whole burger and it was just the flavour of cheese which is honestly not enjoyable. Didn't get any kick, spice or flavour of the fermented hot sauce not did the pickled pink onions bring any acidic or sweet relief to the overpowering flavour of cheese. Even the bacon's flavour and smokeyness was missing . Overall just a decent burger and rating it 3/5 .
Overall I have been disappointed with the burger which should be the main star . For the price it's really a let down . The packaging...
Read moreThe packaging says it all. I looked at the bag and said to myself .... let's hope they've read my instructions for customizing the burger. From the time of ordering on Zomato, it took a full hour to deliver given the distance. Of course, we knew that so I was expecting a soggy, cold burger. The packaging was perfect. I love my simple burger, patty, salad, tomatoes, I don't use mayonnaise, hardly ketchup, I like to enjoy bread and meat as it is because if it's good you don't need anything else. By chance I had prepared some friarielli (sarso in Italian style) that go great with meat. The order was as follows: Louis Grand Royale with tenderloin for the husband Louis Spice Burger with tenderloin for me Farm House for my mother in law The Og fries As expected, the burgers (three) were cold but not soggy, and so were the fries. My husband literally loved his burger, and despite being very firm, he didn't feel bloated or heavy, suffice it to say that after a couple of hours we were both hungry! My sandwich was extremely simple: not only did they follow the instructions perfectly (no cheese, no mayo, no sauces of any kind, ok salad or tomatoes) but the execution was phenomenal: instead of the usual salad gets spoiled with heat, there was some great curly rocket giving that crunchy bite. Instead of the usual desi tomatoes, there were grilled cherry tomatoes, sweet and tangy at the same time, the top was the hot paprika chillies, not spicy but very, very tasty. The buns were top quality too ! I think the fries were artisanal, not industrial, they cost a little bit much (100 rs) but really tasty. When was the last time you tasted a great burger? Now I have the answer! Zorawar Kalra you nailed it! Thanks...
Read moreFew months back in night, I decided to indulge in some comfort food from Louis Burger, and it turned out to be a fantastic choice! The order was placed through Zomato and it arrived promptly, well-packaged, and still hot, which set the stage for a great dining experience right at home.
Grilled Chicken Burger: The star of the meal! The burger was generously packed with a perfectly grilled chicken patty that was juicy and flavorful. The patty was nestled between soft, fresh buns, layered with crisp lettuce, and melty cheese, complemented by a light, creamy sauce that tied all the flavors together beautifully. Every bite was a delightful mix of textures and tastes.
Chicken Popcorn: These bite-sized treats were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. They were seasoned well, not too spicy, just enough to give a nice kick. They’re perfect for snacking and were absolutely addictive.
Peri Peri Fries: The fries were a pleasant surprise, seasoned with Peri Peri spice that was tangy and had a little heat. They were cooked to a perfect crisp, and not at all greasy, which made them a great side to the burger and chicken popcorn.
Overall, Louis Burger has delivered an excellent meal that exceeded my expectations. The flavors were spot on, the portions were satisfying, and everything tasted fresh. It’s definitely a place I would recommend to anyone craving delicious and hearty...
