Mr Baker's The Cake shop — Restaurant in Delhi

EDIT: Editing this review after more than an year. I have been visiting the shop for past 6-7 years, especially for my mother's birthday and parents anniversary. Unfortunately, the quality is significantly deteriorated now - be it design or be it taste. Even after placing order 3 days ago, the delivery was delayed and the design was just not what was expected. Every time I used to spend 1-1.5 hr. on fixing the cake design/decor as per my liking - my own effort and time. This time, the cake was so beyond repair. Even after rejigging the whole decoration, it didn't look much nice. I asked for refund of advance money, but was forced to purchase the cake. I paid INR 3k for a red velvet cake of 2.5 kg. I had no strength for reasoning anymore. It was my mom's 66th birthday and people were home for celebration. Eventually after cake cutting, we tasted it and it was so pathetic. Every single person threw the cake after taking one bite. The sponge was overloaded with some sort of rancid essence/oil which tasted like coconut. God only knows what sort of red velvet it was. The creame and sponge both were bitter to taste. My brother in-law suffered indigestion. Anyways , the crux is I was a very loyal customer for this place, but this was the last instance that I ever purchased a cake from here. I'll be forever sorry that my mother's birthday was ruined (as of November 17, 2024)

Not friendly staff. Just a normal bakery shop. They sell some glass cakes and the way they pack it is just insane .They wrap a polythene bag around it rather than putting cap on the glass making the cream and fruits safe to eat.
