New Sharma Bakers & Confectioners — Restaurant in Delhi

My family has been a loyal customer of this shop for more than three decades now, all because of their quality products. However, the last few instances have made us rethink about our loyalty as customers with this shop. A few months back, my parents ordered a cake for a small celebration at home, and a hair strand was found in the cake. Well, to err is human, and once in a while problems can happen anywhere, so that was okay to give them another chance (of course my dad informed the owner about the issue later). Latest unpleasant experience happened in January, when I visited the store with my sis. Asked an employee to prepare Two choco-brownies (with price at Rs 80/unit i guess). We clearly told him about the exact product we want (and the product that we don't want, since he was trying to impose some other choco-pastry to us). After a wait of 10 minutes, we were offered one unit of "other" brownie-- the same brownie which we Did Not Want and clearly told him earlier about the same. Of course that was shocking. Our mistake: we accepted it for "ethical" reasons, assuming that rejecting the product will cause a loss to them. We then waited for another piece of it as we ordered two units. That shameless fellow told us after another few minutes that the stock was out! Was that what we were waiting for?

As a customer, if I am asking them for N number of units, they should tell me upfront if they don't have enough stock. Further, despite being clearly told what their customer wants, they IMPOSE other items to their customers. The experience was beyond our shock, and our customer loyalty was shaken like some avalanche. That employee kept on befooling us... This is just NOT DONE...

This review is being wrote by Ritu.. since i have been a child.. earlier my parents and now me.. we have been ordering cakes from Sharma bakers.. both the Bhaiyaas are like my own brothers..always serve me the best one can have and the staff is cooperative too..today i got the opportunity to express my gratitude towards them in the form of this small note.. Any celebration is incomplete without their cakes in our house.. They always customize the cakes the way i want.. Thank you so much for the beautiful cakes ! That looked and tasted amazing always ! There was hardly any left over so obviously it went over well with our guests everytime ! This time i chose Sharma bakers for my Roka ceremony's Cake..We absolutely loved the cake! Every person complimented both the look and taste! The flavors were perfect and I am so happy that we went with the cake! Thank you for making such a beautiful and delicious cake ! Thank you for giving me a sweet, delicious and very yummy cakes for my birthdays & My family and friends' birthdays..We truly enjoy eating your cakes..Thank you.. i dont think so Money alone can payback you what you fill into our hearts.. Your cake was a BIG HIT this time as well.. with everyone.. the flavour, the taste, everything about it... amazing!!! I've given your name out to everyone I...

I recently visited this place to buy cake and some cookies for my mom and sister's birthday and I was really impressed with the ambience and the huge variety of food items under one roof.

I would say the most wonderful and amazing cake I ever had, should definitely visit once this place, the cakes are very economical and worth the money as well.

This place is very pretty clean and has a cozy ambiance with the huge variety of bakery items, pastries, cakes etc.

Their brownies have a very good quality and taste, Owner and Staff is very good with polite behavior.

I would say one of the best bakery in Rani Bagh, cake quality is super awesome, I really love it.

No need to visit any other bakery shop you will get everything under one roof here, Bakery has its own production which is the best part.
