NVC is a new three storey rest-o-(bar) * liqueur license in queue, that serves everything from salads to Indian curries and platters of all sorts and desserts.
Apart from the location, which is a huge plus. Since braving the madness of Hudson lane is never fun! The decor is refined yet maintains the vibe that hkv grows on you. Also Between it's burgers, chinjabi and Indian and such, no one from your group will have a reason to complain.
There's a lot of stuff on the menu which wasn't being served at the launch for obvious reasons but I did manage to get a look at the menu and I'm excited! Salted caramel shake, watermelon and mint Cooler, dhoodhiya chicken tikka which is basically afghani, teen Mitch ka paneer tikka are just some of the things that have gotten us raving about the place.
And don't even get me started About their fidget-0-spin on the desserts. It satisfied our unending cravings like nothing else does.
Personally, I love carbs! Burgers and pizzas hold my world together. If they are done well, I'm eating it. If I'm hungry, I'm eating it. Even if I don't hear the greatest things about the joint, I'm probably still gonna try it. That being said, I really really liked crusted paneer burger which was simply to die for! Yes' more than the BBQ bourbon glazed chicken version.
For Mains, Our plate of comfort food included dhoodhiya murg tikka, dal makhani and laccha paranthas, which will take care of your mughlai cravings wonderfully well (big on butter and cream)! You'd be lying if you said that the thought of this trifecta didn't make your mouth water.
Their limited yet indulgent desserts and stellar service will make your day. I highly recommend getting their delectable brownie or more fancier forest dome, which had raspberry centred dark chocolate mousse, chocolate soil and vanilla sauce! The deliciousness is unparalleled! Also the theatrics by chef Anas himself were adored by all the fussy eaters...
Read moreIts tough to decide any cafe since there are a lot of options in vijay nagar. But my curiosity of trying new places to eat can never end, so we decided to try no vacancy this time. This place has couple of floors with nice seating and unique ambience. They have a decent menu which also has some unique items. Starting with drinks, i think this cafe serves the best shakes and mocktails. We tried oreo shake, brownie peanut butter shake, bluberry cheese cake shake and each and every one had its unique taste. In moctails - Watermelon and mint cooler, virgin pinacolada and frozen margarita were delightful and satisfied our thirst for drinks. Starters - Tried Chicken salt and pepper , Dirty chicken fries (must try - filled with a lot of chicken and cheese). Lamb burger is a must try - Very nice preparation(only thing is that its very heavy). Last and the important dish to finish with is the Dig In pizza. Have seen this for the first time. Prepared with naan material put on top to pizza base and tucked with straws so that it can be separated with pizza base once ready. Do try that and i am sure you will not be disappointed. In all a nice place to hang out with friends and satisfy your cravings...
Read moreI gave my long overdue treat at No Vacancy cafe recently. Although ae had very high hopes the place wa just ok. Ordered quite a lot including Haryali Paneer Tikka Paneer tikka naanza Veg grilled sandwich Hot garlic noodles veg bowl Digin veg pizza Spaghetti in alfredo sauce
Many drinks like : oreo shake, ferrero rocher shake, virgin pina colada, kitkat shake, brownie peanut butter shake. All the drinks were very good
The digin pizza is honestly a horrible cross between a pie and a stuffed naan. My suggestion to stay away from it. The noodle bowl was very disappointing aswell.
What we liked: Spaghetti was delicious, paneer tikka was a total delight. Even the paneer tikka naanza was good. The grilled sandwich was very avg.
The service is extremely slow and the worst part is that when you fill up the feedback form honestly the chef and staff actually start cross questioning you horribly like it is some crime to say what ypu want to say.
Not going here again. It even burns a hole in your pocket! I would recommend it is better to go to...
