Horrible Experience at Sandoz, Ashok Vihar
My visit to Sandoz, Ashok Vihar, was nothing short of a nightmare. The food was terrible—soggy, stale chili potatoes that were anything but crispy, and burned rotis that they laughably described as “crispy.” For a restaurant that positions itself as premium, the quality of both food and service was worse than what you’d get at a roadside stall, all while charging exorbitant prices.
The service was disgraceful. The staff ignored basic instructions, delayed serving food, and didn’t even provide cutlery until we asked repeatedly. The worst offender was a waiter named Gaurav, who responded to our concerns with sarcasm, saying, “Let the GM serve you,” and even made inappropriate gestures. When confronted, Gaurav caused a scene by falsely accusing us of abusing him, further ruining the experience.
The General Manager’s behavior was equally appalling. Despite witnessing Gaurav’s unprofessional and disrespectful behavior—particularly toward women guests—the GM failed to take any meaningful action. He assured us that Gaurav would be fired immediately, but just five minutes later, we saw the same waiter casually attending to other tables as if nothing had happened.
Instead of addressing the clear misconduct, the GM accused us of “disturbing other guests,” dismissing our valid concerns entirely. The lack of accountability and professionalism from the management was shocking and unacceptable.
For the high prices they charge, Sandoz delivers nothing but poor-quality food and an outright disrespectful experience. Dining here felt like enduring a battle, not enjoying a meal. Save yourself the frustration—avoid this place...

For a place that positions itself as premium, the service quality is worse than what you’d expect at a roadside stall.
The staff was unbelievably rude and unprofessional. They didn’t listen to any instructions, delayed serving food, and didn’t even provide cutlery until we repeatedly asked. One waiter named Gaurav, instead of addressing concerns, sarcastically said, “Let the GM serve you,” and made inappropriate hand gestures. Read moreI had a very bad experience from sandoz I will not refer this restaurant for online orders , i had ordered online through zomato today for my guest as I have heard for their good food and service but i was wrong , i have ordered boneless butter chicken , 4 tandoori roti and salad with raita they billed Rs 507/- and delivered food at my office . when i served all food on table i found all 4 tandoori roti are missing , I was shocked who come it is possible i was very much embarrassed in front of my guest . i Called to restaurant but no one bothers then i have personally visited to restaurant and met manager he was also trying to put all blame to zomato boy . His senior manager spoken to me on phone and he was also not sorry and were arguing with me. I chat with zomato and they told me that restaurant forgotten to complete the order and i can take any legal action against restaurant and also suggested me to put this feedback . I am feeling so depressed and both restaurant managers were not good in attitude and due to this episode i am in mental trauma as i faced socialey abused and not getting out of it .
