South Indian Cafe — Restaurant in Delhi

Food is great. Service is also good...but the owners kid is rude. If he is sitting behind counter taking order ...be ready for some rude behavior. The last time we visited was in summer and they had not switched on the air conditioner. I was with my wife a kids. We requested that boy to switch on AC but he denied. So I told him we will leave and it was OK for him. After that I never went there. Also its pure vegetarian. They should add non vegetarian south Indian dishes too.

It's just an ok stall as far as South Indian food goes. It's a pity that people in Delhi don't actually know what good South Indian tastes like. And utterly disappoting that joints like this who have decades of experience and true South Indian roots are dishing out just ordinary South Indian fare. It's a sad story. I visit with my friend here. This place serves very tasty south indian dishes. I really like rawa masala dosa and fried idli. Idli is so soft that as soon as you put it in your mouth it will dissolve. Sambhar is also very tasty and it has the flavour of each & every spice. Service is quick and fast. Owner is really sweet & pay attention to each and every customer which is very good thing. Overall nice experience.
