Al-Shita — Restaurant in Ghaziabad

I had one of the worst dining experiences at Al-Shita, Sector 2, Vaishali, Ghaziabad. The food was absolutely terrible – completely lacking in taste, freshness, or quality. For the price they charge, it offers zero value for money. Portions were small, presentation was poor, and everything tasted either stale or overly oily.

The service was even worse – totally unprofessional and disorganized. Staff seemed uninterested and untrained, with no sense of customer service. Waiting time was unnecessarily long, and when the food did arrive, it was cold.

Honestly, this place is a complete letdown. If you're looking for good food or decent service, do yourself a favor and skip Al-Shita. There are far better options nearby that actually care about quality and customer...

Ok, let me be clear I have been going to Al shita since it was just a small tandoori chicken shop with like 2 employees so I may be biased.

First, the roast section is amazing from lolipops and tangris, the vegetarian options are good enough but not something I would recommend a must. Biryani is not much to look for. Here the gravies like butter chicken, korma and Tawa chicken are my personal to go for. Then comes the mutton keema to add on your list ; Note:- it may vary upon the meat and fat ratio sometimes 😜 but not much to severely affect. Breads are great. I could tell that whatever items that other people were having around me were definitely nice, except the one that I ordered.

I was craving mutton nihari, and after reading a lot of reviews of couple of places, I ended up here. I could tell that it wasn't fresh, or was re-heated atleast few times.

There was no oil floating over the top, and the gravy, albeit hot, had frozen slurry like texture and appearance.

I am not saying anything against the shop, I sincerely believe that it must have been a one bad case as people usually don't order nahari that often in our area.
