Alex's Shack — Restaurant in Goa

So actually I'm writing this review to bring to the notice of all what a horrible person this Nivedita Dutta is.. who put a false review on this shack. I was seated here and witnessed the entire nonsense which started with when they were walking to the toilets of Alex Shack. They were informed that the sugar shack toilets were on the other side. However they still went Into the showers. Alex didn't say anything as they had a small child with them. Then after about another 15 mins they came back again. This time when Alex reminded them that the toilets of the shack they were using were on the other side, they began using filthy language and threatened him of a bad review. And they still used the showers and purposely left the tap on. By the way... they not only showered their child and themselves the second time but also dressed themselves up in new attire. And then as they left the showers they threatened him again with a bad review. This was when they clicked a picture and he purposely did those actions. For all who know Alex, you know what a patient man he is. He cares for his customers. But this lady really needs to wash her mouth with soap. I watched the entire drama by that couple( especially the lady) and need to say that you are the worst tourist I have ever seen. So disrespectful and the way you handled your child is appalling... sorry to say. You need to learn some manners and courtesy before you go on...

The best part is the foooood. Oh my god, the bessst at Morjim. Tidy shack with helpful and sweet staff. The owner is very courteous and would offer you help, if you need any. They're ready to help with recommendations on places to visit in Goa, food to try, commute, etc. Accommodation is also available just behind the shack and they'd show you the rooms just so that the next time you visit, you may consider them. Had the washrooms at the shack been cleaner and service a little faster, it would have gotten the 5 stars it so much deserves for a lovely time I spent there...

Food wasn’t bad and wasn’t awesome but staff was indeed not courteous…. We were 10, 6 adults and 4 kids and only on our 3rd call for order we were told to order all at once and that too when we were the only customers on this shack and other shacks were relatively crowded… Owner, when contacted, was emotionless. Although, we heard that he was scolding staff but did not do anything to stop us from leaving when we asked for bill as we felt bad with family… Anyways, won’t be visiting or recommending this shack for sure… Bay View was and will always be my first...
