Read moreA detailed review of what we experienced
Visited for Lunch
We 5 frnds visited here after reading the reviews but to our surprise the experience was complete contrast to the reviews it had.
When we visited the place hardly 3 tables were full and in that one table was with just 1 foreigner and the other 2 tables were with 3 and 4 people. When we settled down menu was given and the guy was already present to take the order even before we open the menu book.. (And he was in such a hurry running here and there as if the place was completely full and still many people were waiting outside for the table ) So we ordered in a hurryburry jus bcoz he was constantly coming to us to have the order for every 30 seconds..
And then when we ordered, we waited 25min for our 1st dish to arrive and remember this was when only 3 tables were filled with people. It was very slow
Ambience - half of the place is under the roof and the rest half is open with good ambience but the main problem is when there electricity cut they dont have the alternative and this is heights tbh.. even the hotels in tier 2 cities have generators or inverters but this being a such a hyped tourist spot and there is alternative for a power cut was quite annoying..
3 of us took vegetarian food and other 2 non veg
Veg - starters - paneer fingers (1⭐/5) that 1 star was for the softness of paneer the outer layer which is deep fried neither had salt nor it was spicy completely bland.. We have eaten paneer fingers innumerable times at many places but never have i tasted this bad.. we even told him that it has nothing and he said its done like that🤦🏾♂️
Other items that we ordered were some veg gravy, butter naan, kashmiri parota. Taste of these items were nice (4⭐/5)
Our other 2 frnds who had non veg food said that the food was nice but not grt and they said they would give (3⭐/5)
Price - little on the higher end but its ok coz of the place( very near...
