Got burger cravings? Well, I found a place that you'll LOVE for sure.
Burger Factory's new outlet in Nerul (Goa) is set up in a beautiful Portuguese villa that is Instagram-worthy with tropical plants and décor that's gonna make you swoon. They are popularly known for their signature burgers. Their menu also includes delicious salads, burger bowls, barbeques, and steaks with some delightful drinks and exclusive cocktails served at their cute bar section within the villa.
I tried the following:
Chicken + Classic Onion + Tomato This classic chicken burger with onions and tomatoes was pretty good! The buns were nice and soft and the chicken was so tender and the flavours really worked well together.
Pork + Double Cheddar + bacon + BBQ sauce I absolutely loved this! This pork burger was perfectly cooked! It was so juicy that you can sink your teeth into it! The barbecue sauce had this very smoky and a light tanginess to it that got out the beautiful flavors. And the addition of double cheddar with generous amounts of bacon had me feeling so good!
Chicken + Cheddar + Pesto + Tomato Finally, tried the chicken with cheddar, pesto, and tomato burger. Pesto in general adds flavor to everything and this is no different. It had such a unique earthy experience that will take you to burger heaven! The patty was succulent and moist and the cheese had the perfect balance to it.
4)Sangria Pitcher (red) I also had a refreshing glass of Sangria! It had the perfect combination of red wine, cinnamon, clove spice, star anise and mint leaves, and other ingredients that will have your taste buds going wild!
I had a very pleasant experience out here. Their service is pretty quick. All COVID-19 protocols are followed and the tables are sanitized after every...
Read moreThe burger factory chain is the best gourmet burger restaurant in goa, bar none. Of the 3 outlets (anjuna, morjim, Nerul), i think this one is the best.
Ambience was awesome! i went on a Saturday, when they have live jazz music. The band was on fire. Most of the seating is immersed in nature with individual tables surrounded by trees.
The menu is much more expansive than any outlet/most burger places, with an extensive list of cocktails, sides and specials. Their milkshakes are my go-to, despite the fact that their famous one actually has olive oil in it! (Extra virgin milkshake)
The burgers are HUGE, delicious and messy. My friend and I had the double cheddar with bacon (in pork) and the feta with olive oil (in beef). Both were served with the house fried potato chips which were crunch and perfect.
The cheesiness, meatiness and sauciness is unbeatable. However the flavour is on the milder side, with no standout spice or (forgive my usage of the word) masaledaar vibes. Maybe they need a tandoori burger for basic boiz like myself.
They are priced higher than most burger places, and you'd have to wait ages to get seated, but it's worth it. A nod to the politeness and efficiency of the staff and the warm hospitable vibes of the general manager as well.
Don't overthink it. If you're in Goa and have the time to sit down and eat a...
Read moreMany mixed reviews of this place, but we decided to try it. Not too good, maybe we had a bad day - Friday lunchtime.
Decent food, lousy service in a dirty garden area (bottle caps, burnt agarbatti sticks, used tissues litter the ground). Lots of mosquitoes here, but bug spray is available on the table.
The restaurant isn't child friendly, though they do have baby chairs. On arrival as a group of 8+ 1 infant we were pushed to take a 6 seater. We had to sit down with 2 pax left standing, to show the staff how unreasonable they were being...
For those with small children, you understand how important it is to have some child-friendly items on the menu... French fries, mashed potato, chicken nuggets, etc. This place has none. Attempts to find a solution failed, any requests were given one standard answer from the staff (and manager) - Chef won't customize any item. Apparently, suggesting alternatives isn't an option..
Finally we found and suggested an extra chicken patty, it's on the menu. Again, it CANNOT be served seperately, we had to disassemble the burger and wipe off the sauce to feed the child.
The servers are curt, to the point of being rude. This place seems to be made for the convenience of the staff. Lots of better places in Goa, don't waste...
