Down-to-earth joint with mouth-watering local cuisine - MUST-TRY In a sea of joints in the Candolim-Nerul area we were looking for some decent place to have authentic CRAB fare. That is when a local relative suggested this place. The experience was just awesome! Tastefully decorated sitting area welcomed us . We ordered their specialty 'Bharillo Bangdo' (stuffed macarel ). Perfectly cooked & deboned , it almost melted in the mouth.The catch was fresh and the stuffing complemented the flavour of the fish. Definitely recommended. We requested the chef to customise the crab preparation to suit the palate of the kid. Again, the job was perfectly done .Fresh catch, flavourful garnishing and mildly spicy sauce. And yes, the crab size was huge. We also ordered another house specialty, stuffed crab, and I must say this was definitely the best stuffed crab I have had in Goa. Lightly flavoured without compromising on the taste of crabmeat and so easy to savour. Another melt-in-the-mouth experience & defintely recommended. I had a very disappointing experience. The restaurant was understaffed, so they took 15 mins to take my order and 30 mins more to serve the order. To add more to this treatment, the food was worse than Street food quality. We had ordered a masala tea, lassi, jalapeno cheese poppers and veg sandwich. The tea wasn't strained of the leaves, which is expected even from our local chai tapri. The lassi was lumpy and more like curd with a little sugar. The veg sandwich is the worst sandwich I have ever had. The bread was stale and there wasn't any sauce in it. This sandwich should have costed to the maximum at RS. 40. But it costed me an offending RS. 80. The price did not justify the quality at all. The cheese poppers was the only thing that had just one flaw: it was too oily. But otherwise at this restaurant, the only dish that was best in our order was this. To conclude, the price for 2 here was Rs. 165. Seriously steep for a tea and snack. I would not recommend this at all, because it's too overpriced for the quality of the food served and an insult to Street food...

New scam alert: we went there for lunch, ordered some thali with fish they took order, after some time they came and said politely that "sir currently your ordered food not available so we will give some other fish instead of ur ordered food" then we said okay. After completion of our lunch they generated more bill than what we ordered in the menu and asked to pay more price higher than in the menu. We asked them politely but management is very very very rude.... And one more is we ordered for prawns curry they brought some other fish, with conscious mind we rejected that order but they told we can not cancel order you should take this order but again we rejected and saved.
