Cafe Raghu — Restaurant in Goa

Cafe Raghu is an amazing restaurant in Morjim which is an absolute gem. We visited in Mar 2024 and ended up visiting twice within a span of 2 days.

Poori Bhaji and Samosa are the specialities of the place. Poori is made from Wheat Flour rather than Refined Wheat Flour (Maida) in a unique style and the bhaaji is the typical north indian style one which is delectable too. You get the best samosa of Goa at Cafe Raghu which has a little pepper sprinkled which makes it even more amazing. Alu Paratha is served piping hot which is again delicious. The Masala Chai is the typical desi ginger chai which is great. The Masala Omelette with bread was again amazing. Everything is prepared fresh in front of you which you rarely find in any restaurant in Goa.

The pricing is very economical and there is absolute value for money.

The host Raghuji is very pleasant to speak with and takes great care to ensure you have a good time. This is a must visit place if you are in Morjim and should be on top of places to eat. Give him a call if you want to try their Veg Thali.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Cafe Raghu in Morjim, Goa, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. The cozy ambiance and warm hospitality immediately made me feel at home. The menu at Cafe Raghu offers a delightful variety of dishes, and each one was a culinary delight.

Their Samosas were perfectly crisp, with a delicious filling that had just the right blend of spices. The Veg Thali was a true treat, offering a diverse selection of vegetarian dishes that showcased authentic flavors. The Parathas were flaky and aromatic, making for a comforting accompaniment to the meal.

For dessert, I couldn't resist trying their pancakes, which were a delightful ending to the meal. Light and fluffy, they were drizzled with just the right amount of sweetness.
