Anthony himself is an absolute gent, this man is hospitality personified. Always a welcome, always a smile, always makes time to ensure you are happy.

If you are in the area make the time to visit this Goan owned shack, one of the originals, before hotels and big business moved on to the beach. If you’ve come to Goa as part of an all inclusive package then step out of your ‘bubble’ remember what travelling is supposed to be about and come and watch the sun go down, with a beer, the way Cafe Roma has been doing it for over...

Literally the best beach shack in Calangute!

Cafe Roma has something for everyone! Spaghetti Bolognaise and pancakes for me and Prawns curry and King Fish rawa fry for my mom.

The cafe is run by Anthony Uncle and his sister Nancy aunty, and both of them are so nice and make you feel very homely.

If you like loud music at the beach shore, this place might not be for you but if you are person who loves to just sit back and relax listening to the serene sound of waves hitting the shore, you must try this place out!

I'll highly recommend their Prawns curry, Spaghetti Bolognaise, Nutella Pancakes.

Don't forget to try their homemade Feni!!

Situated in Calangute, this shack is a cut above the rest. With a million dollar view and amazing food, this restaurant gives you the perfect placid and fulfilling experience. The English breakfast here is fresh & wholesome. They have sunbeds for those who would like to eat near by the shore. The seafood is good and fresh too. The prawn balchao is a dish that I had tried and it was finger licking good with all its Goan spice masala, not too spicy just perfect. The BLT is just perfect for a sunset snack!...
