Grand Gigi's — Restaurant in Goa

I'm going to start right at the beginning. My Husband & I got court-married during the lockdown in 2021 and were really looking forward to hosting an intimate, meaningful yet extremely fun wedding party in January 2023. We're both from Mumbai & always knew that when we did throw a party, it would be in Goa.

We visited Goa in October 2021 to search for the perfect venue, caterer and decorator. Gigi's was a property my husband happened to find on google maps and we knew from the location that it was going to be the first venue we visit. On reaching the property, we were instantly mezmerized by the unobstructed view of the ocean as well as the size and beauty of the place. After a detailed discussion with Bradley (the owner) and his team, we booked it on the spot.

Now let me be clear about one thing - both my husband and I are extremely picky as people about the things we like and don't. We were very specifc when it came to the food, decor, drinks, placements etc. And Team Gigi's came through on each and everything! They were our all in one team for every single thing! We were in touch with them throughout thereon and every element of the wedding celebration was discussed by us elaborately and executed by them as planned. If you're planning to host your celebration at Gigi's, you can be sure that they will take your vision & your pintrest board and bring it to life, as they did for me. And if you don't know what you want, they will help you figure it out.

We often discuss how we want to go back there and just force them to give us lunch and a few cocktails (yes, that's how good they are!). I will never forget the time on one of my more stressful days closer to the wedding when Bradley said to me "Nimisha, I promised to give you the wedding of your dreams, and I will come through on that promise no matter what." Looking back now I can safely say, Bradley and his team came through on that promise a bit too much. After the wedding, my husband and I suffered from wedding withdrawal and miss our own wedding every single day! We had so much fun, we wish we could go back in time and do it all over again! We've had friends and family tell us that this was the best wedding party they've ever attended & we couldn't agree more. Team Gigi's even planned & executed our Indian theme Sangeet party a day after the main celebration and that turned out to be a bigger banger than anyone expected. Coming from a bride who was super particular about every little thing, let me tell you that you are in safe hands with them (special shout out to Mizbah & Vishal).

Realistically speaking, when there are hiccups along the way (as there naturally are with every wedding venue and planner), Bradley will be quick to take feedback and smooth things over before you even have the time to stress over it. We've gained friends in them for life, and have an added stop to visit whenever we're in South Goa..

Writing this review brings back some gorgeous memories, enough to make me emotional. We honestly look forward to celebrating an anniversary party with them one day! Thank you Bradley. From the bottom of our hearts, for everything you did for us. For everytime you went above and beyond, we noticed and appreciated it deeply. We will always be grateful to you for, in your words... A Dream Wedding (well almost). This is a unique review from a Covid bride, who had no idea what was going to happen but is so glad she chanced upon this.

In 2019, I sat in Bombay and dreamt of my Goa beach wedding. I scouted for venues and really nothing matched up to what I saw in Gigi's.....but all this was online. One conversation with Bradley, I had a feeling he was on the same wavelength as me. I took the chance and made the booking amount.

When I finally made the trip to Goa to see my venue in Feb 2020 in person, I was in awe. The venue was dreamy, even without the wedding set up. We started the meeting watching a beautiful sunset on the deck. This was the dream wedding I had in mind. I couldn't wait for my April 2020 wedding.

We did a food tasting of the wedding and my fiance, my family and me were blown. The food was exquisite....a mix of traditional goan tastes and a modern spread. We knew our guests were going to have the best time.

Bradley and team planned out each little thing for the wedding - decor, set up, lights, car, music. The decor and ambience of the place is class apart. So if you want a customised experience, classy decor, minimalistic design, dreamy feels....there is just this one stop.

But dreams have hitches. And that is when you need people. In March 2020 shortly after seeing this dream pan out, we had to cancel the wedding and indefinitely postpone. The uncertainty, the loss of money...it was all killing me. And then I saw a message from Bradley - "I'm in this with you, I'm not going to let you down". He wasn't my wedding vendor. He was a planning partner and friend.

Bradley & Vishal then through the pandemic helped us postpone and keep planning the wedding every time we thought the situation might get better and safe for our guests to travel. They helped us with dates and options and revised packages, all to fit Covid regulations.

Unfortunately due to travel restrictions and old family members, we had to cancel the Goa wedding with a very heavy heart. When we finally took that call, Bradley assured us he understands and will help us with a full refund. And that is what he did.

We trusted him with our money and even with all the changes and uncertainties , he returned it to us in full. Fully understanding that calling off a dreamy wedding like this only hurt us a lot.

At the end, I did not get my dream wedding. But I am so glad that I spent so many lovely moments here, ate the food and lived the dream with my fiance. We finally met these lovely people and hope to be in touch. I also hope that life brings us back here to celebrate some big milestones.....Grand Gigi's will always be special....it will be our dream wedding.

This goes out to any bride looking - If you want a beautiful wedding, one that is put together with love, if you want to enjoy the wedding planning, not stress at all, have your parents feel taken care of, all requests answered and a gorgeous beach and sunset while you eat the best food....look no further. The dream couldn't fully be mine, it...

Every one has her big day planned in a very special way. And mine was a beach wedding. I always wanted to celebrate it beach side .. so when me and Wolford (my husband) decided to get married it had to be some where near the beach side . After having finalized the dates for the wedding we started hunting for the place , after visiting numbers of venues we were not very much happy about any!! Having a conversation with a friend suggested about Gigi's !!! Luckily Bradley(owner) gave me a call back ..

The moment we were there we knew it then n there it had to be Gigi's .. but then it wasn't available for the date we wanted . Still we decided to go ahead for the food tasting . Having tasted the 1st starter (cheese balls) we decided we are getting married at Gigi's ..even if we have to change the wedding dates i was just ready ... And now i can say that changing our wedding dates was the best decision...

I got my dream wedding !!

Thanks to Bradley and Vishal ..they made sure i got more then what i asked for !! From the deco to the food , music , flowers , car ..i iis had no stress at all ... whenever i msgd Bradley he said kirti dnt stress everything is taken care. And he jus did what he said. All i did from the day i decided to get married in Gigi's was getting dressed for my big day ... Each and everything was done by Bradley and Vishal .

The best host any1 can ask for !! Right from the floral deco , stage area , music , the lightings,table seating arrangements everything was done with utmost care.

Me and Wolford reached before my family and guest arrived and when i saw the venue i literally had tears in my eyes . All i told Bradley was i want the area to be lit up ..and omg the fairy lights 😍😍😍 damm . The venue was lit up ✨ magnificently .

The organisation of buffet and adding the yummy candy floss counter ... Jus wow .. i was living my childhood with the candy floss... There is not a single thing that i can literally say i was upset about .. Bradley and Vishal made sure we and our guests enjoy every bit .

The best outcome of the wedding was guests comments . All we heard the entire night was amazing wedding and yummy food. My guest enjoyed every aspect of the wedding from the beach to the food to the music . Each and every guest on every table was served and taken care of . The service was just excellent .

They even let me exceed my time and prolong my wedding celebrations😋 .. thank you very much Bradley and Vishal !! Thanks for handling dis annoying bride and her stupid demands 😋😂😅 you guys gave me more then what i asked for , P.S " My DREAM WEDDING" ....you dint treat us like clients but like friends .❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Choosing Gigi's was the best decision i made for my big day . 💯💯💯..
