Excellent place to stay for Business and holiday

The International Hotel is located in a very centralised place. It is very close to the Railway station and metro station. The important markets and shopping centers are in walk- able distance. Still the place in front of the hotel is very peaceful, and not crowded. Dust free also. The staff is very responsible and responsive. The General Manager is take care of your requirements. The food is very good- very tasty and wide rang of options. It is value for money. We had our college reunion there. The arrangements are very good. I stayed there with family. Very comfortable rooms with all facilities...

Spending a week in South Goa near Mobor beach, we were recommended two restaurants Joes Riverside and Tanggies. One is a typical goan riverside restaurant famous among the locals and Tanggies, a more modern yet has a well balanced option of cuisines. This restaurant started as a local bar in 1973 and was a popular hangout back then.

The ambience is very clean n modern and we chose to sit outside under a mango tree listening to live music being played by the neighbouring Mike's Place.

We started with crumb fried prawns, a special veg starter for our vegetarian friend, calamari butter garlic n goan sausages. All of them were perfectly cooked n tasty esp their prawns. Their Pina colada came in a massive glass n was well made too.

For mains, we opted for their whole Pomfret goan masala fry with fries n veggies and goan style veg gravy with rice and spaghetti with red sauce for the little one in our group. We finished our meal with their special dessert made of cream n marie biscuit which is a favourite we hear.

Overall, we had a lovely time and the staff were very friendly n courteous. They even recommended a lot of dishes that are off the menu. Would highly recommend visiting...

Dropped by Tanggies yesterday for thier Retro night that happens every Thursday and I did not regret it! Tanggies offers a breezy experience with an open air setting, rustic furniture, canopied by a huge mango tree - making Tanggies the perfect spot for those searching for some feet grooving in the South.

Their extensive menu serves Goan, Continental and Italian cuisines. For starters I ordered Beer battered prawns (Tiger prawns cooked in a beer batter along with a hint of black pepper and chilli flakes. It was served with a spicy chilli dip). I also ordered Butter Garlic Squids and I would like to commend that the squids were just perfectly cooked. For main course I ordered myself a Chicken steak stuffed with baby spinach, pepper, garlic and cheese. To meet out sweet cravings for the night we ordered ourselves a Seradurra and Caramel pudding.
