Gratitude Cafe in Anjuna is a delightful discovery for anyone seeking a vegan dining experience. In our quest for a plant-based meal, we stumbled upon this gem, thanks to the guidance of Google. Gratitude Cafe proudly offers a menu rich in healthy, plant-based, vegan options, making it a perfect haven for those with dietary restrictions, including gluten-free, lactose intolerant, and Jain-friendly diets.
The café goes beyond just serving food; it's a holistic experience. They offer walk-in yoga classes, and their commitment to promoting a sustainable and conscious lifestyle is evident in every aspect of the establishment.
Nestled in an old Goan Villa, Gratitude Cafe exudes a sense of homeliness that transports you to your ancestral village house. The lush greenery and surrounding trees infuse the villa with natural, fresh air, creating a serene and inviting atmosphere.
The food at Gratitude Cafe deserves full marks. Remarkably, you won't even notice that your meals are entirely vegan; every bite is a treat to the taste buds. We ordered Pad Thai, Momos, Pasta, and smoothies, and each dish was a culinary masterpiece. While everything was superb, our personal favorite was the Pad Thai, which was bursting with flavors.
Service at Gratitude Cafe is both prompt and courteous. The staff is attentive and goes the extra mile to ensure your dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.
Limited parking space.
This cafe has undoubtedly earned a spot on my "must-visit" list for the future. Gratitude Cafe doesn't merely offer a meal; it provides a complete experience, from the wholesome, delicious food to the serene ambiance and warm service. For those looking to savor incredible vegan cuisine while embracing a conscious lifestyle, this place is a...
Read moreAfter a lot of research for clean food we finally decided to give this place a try. The beginnings were a bit unpleasant . The owner-cum-waiter had a very unwelcoming attitude. On a already limited menu, a lot of dishes were not even available. After much deliberation we ordered their ramen. Against our high expectations, the ramen felt like an unenthusiastic attempt from the chef. It lacked vegetables and freshness and mostly it was just the noodles. And did I mention, they had ran out of carrot too so they had put some leftover carrot pieces. Upon telling this to the owner, she started bragging about how expensive vegetable prices are!, coming from someone who is running a vegan Cafe! We thought of trying our luck again an this time went with their malaysian curry and rice. The rice was undercooked and although the curry was descent it was barely sufficient to eat the rice with it. Mind you, we were charged 520 for this! I am really tired of these fancy restaurant serving mediocre food!
New addition : adding response to the owner's reply here.
If you don't have raw materials, nobody is aksing you to go and get them in late night. Just don't take the order for those item. This cannot be an excuse to put left over pieces of carrot which is an important ingredient in ramen.
What if we called and asked for the prices? What's wrong with that? You judging us for aksing the price tells a lot about your mentality, so please stop blabbering about positive energy. If anything was radiating out of this place was gigatons of negative energy.
Now, I will leave it upto you folks to see the unempathatic response from the owner of a cafe whose name is 'gratitude' and judge for yourself, a bit...
Read moreI can only RECOMMEND! For someone with gluten and dairy intolerance it was hard for me to find a place that could accommodate my needs but this place is spot on!
Starting off with the delicious food and drinks, there are plenty of option. Gratitude offers mixed juices, juices, smoothie bowls, smoothies, breakfast, salads, pastas, sandwiches/wraps/burgers, soups, noodles, curries, and desserts. So far, I have tried gluten free pancakes, gluten free waffles, beetroot burger, sweet potato falafel and tofu curry wrap. Every single one of these dishes is very filling so you don’t have to worry about needing a snack 30 minutes after finishing your meal. Juices are also absolutely delicious and super refreshing, if I had to pick my favorite “bees knees” would be my choice!
As far as the cost I personally think it is reasonable. Not over-priced but also not on the cheap side if you’re looking for cheap options. Here you pay for the quality of food. Also, keep in mind that if you come here, the food is filling and you won’t need another meal for another 4+ hours.
Staff is super nice and accommodating. When I wanted to order an avocado sandwich, I was informed that the avocados were not ripe yet and that the taste would be a bit different. That itself says a lot about this place, they will not serve you something they are unsure about or without giving you all the information.
Vibe of the place is also spectacular, it makes you take a step back from all the rush and slow down for a little bit.
My rating is 10/10 !...
