We have been regular patrons of this restaurant for over eight years, cherishing its food and ambiance as a staple in our dining routine. However, our recent experience has left us profoundly disappointed and disheartened.
My parents dined at the restaurant yesterday and were met with an utterly disrespectful encounter from one of your staff members(the lady chashier). After they had finished their meal, they were curtly and rudely instructed to leave, not even permitted to rest for a brief minute to conclude their dining experience. Such behavior is unprofessional and, frankly, unfathomable given our history with the establishment.
Hospitality is the backbone of the restaurant business, and it is regrettable that your establishment seemed to have overlooked this crucial aspect on this occasion. It's essential to remember that it's not just about serving meals; it's about creating a welcoming environment that makes your customers want to return. Unfortunately, the unsavory customer service we experienced has greatly marred our perception of your establishment.
Given this experience, we've decided not to patronize your restaurant any longer. We'd like to bring to your attention that there are numerous other dining establishments in Vasco that not only offer great food but also emphasize the importance of good customer service.
We hope you will seriously consider this feedback and take steps to improve your customer service. No establishment, regardless of its past reputation or quality, should take its patrons for granted. It's a competitive world out there, and respectful treatment of customers should always...
Read moreOne of the best places I have visited. It's worth a visit even if you have to travel from the other side of goa. Great place for vegetarians, they serve authentic veg goan food
Vegetarians, Don't let all the mentions of their seafood drive you away from this heavenly place. I fully believe that if they did not serve their fish thali, their veg thali would have gotten the same awards.
We were hesitant at first to order the thali, so we only ordered one, and we ordered dal fry and tava sabzi.
When we tasted the thali, we just had to try and cancel our previous orders to order one more thali. And they canceled the dal, but the Sabri was already made, and I'm sure that the dal was 75% or more cooked but they still canceled it.
Our waiter, Mr Anant was a great help, he helped us choose the right dish, turned off the ac when we felt cold and made sure that no ghee or mushrooms were added in our dishes.
Speaking of the dishes, they were amazing. Not to mention they were also not stuffed full with spices, but rather carefully cooked to subtly enhance their inherent flavor. And it all was cheap compared to the other places. Aaaaaaand the quantity given was amazing. This was I think the first thali that didn't just give a handful of rice to tick it off, rather in one thali they have almost half of their normal plate of rice
2 thalis could easily satisfy 3 people(provided you order some extra rotis)
Only suggestion would be to have some live performers, but that may not go well with their style
Rating: 4.8 5 out of 5 for food 5 out of 5 for pricing 4.5 out of 5 for ambience
And closed on Mondays, which is a...
Read moreShould try Ananth ashram in Vasco , by name I first thought it to be a low budget hotel😛, but when I searched in trip advisor the it showed 1/59 places to visit , so made my mind to visit this place .
I ordered paneer pakoda , and a fish thali which included crab curry 🦀, prawns 🍤, surmai fish curry , chicken curry and total 8 items in curry and 1 local digestive liquid made of coconut like Chach.
The ambiance of the hotel is good. The taste was ok but not like chasa Bhosle in panjim, the service is also bit slow.
Any ways is best place for family get together , — at Hotel Anantashram, Vasco
Restaurant is located in Vasco. It’s a good place to have quick bite and for big gatherings.
Cashew malai curry is one of the best you can get there along with the cheese butter nan. Bit heavy to the stomach but trust me you will definitely like the taste.
I was dining alone and by mistake I ordered cashew malai curry and prawn Goan curry together, I was in a impression that the quantity will be less but I was surprised that the quantity was really much more than I expected.
Quality and quantity of food is really good. Price is also ok.
You can also get many Goan dishes in anant ashram. It’s a very traditional restaurant maintaining its taste.
Sea food are prepared perfectly and the use fresh raw products.
