Indian Summer — Restaurant in Goa

I have to admit, reading some of the reviews earlier I was not too sure about my booking, ||But if you are on a budget and not a very fancy high flying traveler this is certainly worth a visit, a simple homely setting to the hotel with a total laid back Goa attitude. ||Listed below are some of my observations,||||Good:||Huge rooms||24hr Hot and Cold water||Close to the beach and market (Baga and Calangute) ||Very friendly staff (especially Jaana)||Good no frills hotel||Non interfering staff (so you can let your hair lose and have fun)||Quiet and Peaceful||Quick service (while staff present)||||Average:||Rooms need a bit of cosmetic touch ups (Small details matter to some people)||(Flush was missing a cover, latch on wash room door was broken, sheets were not changed and bulbs missing from a few holders)||Food is not so great, but there is a lot of scope for Improvement (Would not recommend eating a meal at the hotel, breakfast, tea is fine)||No 24hr kitchen (keeping in mind this is Goa it can be a bit annoying)||No Staff present in the night (So post 11pm you on your own)||More housekeeping staff||||To end however let me say, keeping in mind all the small details that management could improve upon, I will still be re booking with them for my next trip in April…||Thanks guys looking forward to a few improvements and a lot better...

The place is appropriate if you are on budget and looking for a place just to sleep and bath. ||||We arrived at midnight and the staff was there to assist us. Great guy but might need some improvement.||||The 3 of us stayed in a 2 bedroom unit and it was huge. With hot shower, aircond, towel, bed sheet and soap provided. Cleanliness wise maybe could improve further.||||The beach is about 5 mins walk and you can't see it from the property.||||There's no wifi service provided (free or paid).||||There's a huge open space nearby the guesthouse for parking in case you rent a car. We didn't rent it via the guesthouse since we found a cheaper one elsewhere. We rented from Mr Pradheep (+919822183909), nice guy and I think the price is quite cheap compared to others that we surveyed. ||||Overall, I might look for somewhere else and pay slightly more unless there's improvement on cleanliness.
