Black Pearl Cafe Review
Rating: 4.5/5
Ambiance: 5/5
As I stepped into the Black Pearl Cafe, I was immediately struck by the warm and inviting ambiance. The dimly lit interior, adorned with vintage nautical decor, transported me to a quaint seaside town. The cozy atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing evening out with friends or a romantic dinner date.
Food: 4.5/5
The menu at Black Pearl Cafe boasted an impressive array of international dishes, with a focus on seafood and Italian cuisine. I opted for the Grilled Salmon with Quinoa and Vegetables, which was cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. The flavors were well-balanced, and the portion size was generous. My companions raved about their dishes as well, including the Seafood Paella and the Vegetarian Lasagna.
Service: 4.5/5
The service at Black Pearl Cafe was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. Our server took the time to explain the menu and make recommendations, and the staff were happy to accommodate our requests. The only minor complaint was a slight delay in receiving our food, but it was well worth the wait.
Value: 4/5
The prices at Black Pearl Cafe were reasonable, considering the high quality of the food and the upscale atmosphere. Most dishes fell in the $15-$30 range, with some specials and premium options available at a higher price point.
Overall Experience: 4.5/5
Black Pearl Cafe exceeded my expectations in every way. The unique ambiance, delicious food, and excellent service made for a memorable dining experience. While there were minor flaws, they did not detract from the overall enjoyment of the evening. I highly recommend Black Pearl Cafe to anyone seeking a special night out or a casual dinner with friends.
Recommendations:
Try the Grilled Salmon or Seafood Paella for a taste of the ocean. Don't miss the decadent Chocolate Lava Cake for dessert. Request a table by the window for a stunning view of the surrounding area.
Will I Return?: Absolutely! I'm already planning my next visit to try more of the menu items and enjoy the...
Read moreI am amazed how much they are asking for their substandard food. Almost more expensive than finest brunch restaurants in canada and even France, Before coming to Goa I travelled in Vietnam and brought real Vietnamese coffee. I was surprised they are serving Vietnamese coffee I asked them a cup and it was about 5 dollars worth junk. It wasnât even coffee. I asked the chef to taste real Vietnamese coffee he rudely refused. This is overpriced and really worst food I have ever tasted. Adding real Vietnamese coffee and their fake coffee.
As a reply to the comment by the owner, you may be using Vietnamese coffee ( not sure though ) but definitely the way you made it and served it isnât served that way in all Vietnam. It tasted like diluted condensed milk and there wasnât any coffee in it. For your information I just came back from Vietnam and I was with a Vietnamese friend. Also food price is little inflated, I can understand some ingredients are difficult to find here but just toasted bread and jam was overpriced ? Thatâs...
Read moreOrdered a chicken burger which i would say was not cheap (350). They served me someone elseâs food first and made weird expressions and behaved rudely when i said it wasnt mine. After 45 minutes, seeing others who came later to me getting served first pissed me off so i politely asked if i could leave, then they asked me if i havent got my chicken burger yet, i said no and they said weâll get it to you in a minute, i waited again and then the burger came .. needless to say it looked rushed while cooking and it was served with tasteless fries. Total waste of time and money. The owner wished back âEid mubarakâ to foreigners on Diwali when they said âHappy Diwaliâ to him. PS: Lol i just edited my review to once star recently hence it shows the January date. This review was floating around in your feedback since 2023. Care to look at it then. Be a good sport and cook food for god sake. Stop replying Eid Mubarak when a person greets you happy diwali. Just nod your head if it...
