Pedro's Place — Restaurant in Goa

Pedro's place.... A cosy shack...just near the lifeguards shack...when you visit Calangute beach from holiday street.. The first time I visited was at 10.30 at night...I could hear lovely music.. the waves giving a slow sound in my system ...lulling me into a meditative trance... I had had dinner...I sunk into a comfortable seat ...failing the ocean...the sea breeze blowing into my system a lullaby...for the sake of it...I ordered a beer...Ashok who I believe was a contributor to the stress relieving atmosphere of Pedro's....I fell asleep... The next morning when I walked into Pedro's place or shack...I sat in the same seat...the Sun had lit up the horizon...the ocean was clean, opaque blue...the shack had put up beach umbrella's...lovely colourful parasailing shutes dotted the sky line.... I went into a trance.... Pedro's had me hooked.... I went everyday over there....for my shot of tranquility, sea, sand ,waves, hot chicken chilly....cold beer... Goa I love you.. Pedro's I love you... Ashok...thank you for giving me my private space...with a free ocean...🍇...

Very pathetic quality food and don't fall for the ratings they all are old one.. We came all the way exploring the shacks which offered best food. We ordered paneer tikka, spring roll, crispy chicken. All were pathetic & tasteless.. In terms of quantity just 6 PC's of half sliced paneer was served. The waiter here said that will provide discount, but we requested to change the tikka/ no discount was given. And then comes manner less unprofessional owner Mona. She straight away said no to our feedback. No apologies about the food. And instead started saying that this is the way we present. This property was owned by someone else two years ago. As told by the waiter. Also the waiter was manner less he challenged us to do whatever we want to do or write about this shacks and proudly said that our review won't effect their business.

They even added a drink which was on menu of 150/- in the bill they showed 250/-. Do ensure to check the bill from menu price.

I am not here to complain or take revenge. Just sending my feedback.

My advice to you all...

If you visit Goa, you MUST experience the hospitality of this shack. Absolutely warm and homely... the entire team is almost always all smiles and one can be onself in the place without worrying about being judged. You can play your own music too on their wifi system... and yes... this shack will only close after you have left (itrespective of how late you wanna party)... if you wanna spend the whole night on the beach... this place will remain open for you all through... with the same warm hospitality and complete menu service!

And if you are visiting with a loved one, do try their candle-light setup right near the waves...

And whenever you visit, please say a Special hi to Pedro, Cyril, Ashok, Chandru, Thapa and the lovely ladies selling...
