At first glance, Peter’s Tea Stall looks like a typical grocery store in the parking lot of Bogmalo Beach. But take a seat on one of the 4 tables in this tiny store-cum-tea-stall and you will be floored by the simplicity and taste of every single dish here. I watched Peter shuffle in and out and in and out, catering to an endless stream of tourists requesting for chips, soft drinks, biscuits and knick knacks literally every 10 seconds.
In between giving them items and returning their change, he managed to verbally announce bits and pieces of what his tiny menu contained. Ros Omelette, Kheema Pav/Parotta, Samosas, tea… they all appeared on the table one by one in between his frustrating task of catering to Impatient tourists.
The food is cooked by his wife and every dish was better than the last. Comforting Ros Omelette with chunks of chicken, the Kheema with its subtle flavours, the absolutely fresh and crispy samosas and a perfectly made cup of tea - food for the soul, from an unassuming little place. If you’re headed to Bogmalo Beach, stop by. It is just 10 meters away from where the sandy shore begins and it is so worth your while!

Read moreI stayed 7 days at Bogmalo out of which most of the times I use to have Ros Omlette as breakfast over here. :)
Single omeltte dipped in gravy with a juicy piece of chicken served by a very warm and humble Peter Uncle. He serves this either with Paratha or Pav.👌🏻 It’s a must try over here. Other options include goan bhaji pav, samosas and etc.
It might be a small tea stall right next to the enterance of the beach but almost full right from opening till closure. I have even seen foreign nationals enjoying their smoke and tea along with breakfast over here.
If you are in Bogmalo don't forget to have a morning breakfast over here. Preferably before 11 am as by that time Ros omelette is completely sold as he recives parcel orders as well from locals. Shop is operational from I guess 7 am to 1 pm and then 4 - 9 or 10 pm with Ros Omelette only served in the...
Read morePeter's Tea Stall run by who else but the very friendly and helpful Peter of course, is next to Gupta's chaat and Full Moon shack. We casually asked if he had any hot snacks .... and were treated to the best samosas we've ever eaten! Peter makes these himself and they really are scrumptious with a crisp melt in the mouth crust and a good quality potato filling. Much better than some of the famous samosas of other parts of india. Really the best samosas ever, so good that we took a parcel of them when we went back home. Peter is also very helpful and will try to arrange whatever you want if you give him enough notice. Prices are very reasonable. Hope you do really well Peter, youre a good...
