Peters Deck — Restaurant in Goa

Peters Deck is a great place to spend your beach days if you’re in North Goa - especially as a solo female traveller. I visited a few times, stayed in Candolim and walked a bit further to Calangute just to relax at this beach shack. As a solo female in Calangute/Candolim area you might get some unwanted attention from other tourists, but the staff at Peters Deck was all wonderful - they were respectful and very kind to me, I felt looked after and safe there. The service was also great, the staff is very nice and professional.

I also had some great cocktails and food - especially prawn masala was delicious!

They also had a clean toilet which I appreciated and felt comfortable using.

GOONS!! Our family opted to have morning snacks here. To our horror the lady here came and started persuading us to take foot massage at 300rs for 20 mins. Upon declining her multiple times she literally abused us in her mother tongue. After a short while when me and my husband were in the waters, we saw her talking to our 4 yr old kid who was then watching cartoon on phone. She fooled the kid saying we were calling her and next moment when we were back at the sands, the phone, my wallet from the purse were gone. We are senior citizens and on 10th March evening 7 pm we had ordered 2 cups coffee at this shack. The beverage served to us was so absurd tasting. It lacked coffee and it was some weird tasting milk. We brought this to the notice of person in charge who gave us 2 extra sachets of coffee!! The milk was far from fresh. My wife and myself got diarrhea and severe vomiting bouts later in the night after having just half cup of the coffee. We were under treatment of Dr. Mangesh at Baga for...
