Disappointing Experience at Ripple, Mahindra Property – Colva
We were staying at the Marriott and decided to stop by Ripple at Mahindra property, Colva, for dinner after a beach walk. As we had only stepped out for a walk, we didn’t carry our IDs, just our phones. After we completed our dinner, a staff member asked for ID. We explained the situation politely, but within moments, another staff member (Raksha) came rushing over and spoke to us very rudely, saying they couldn’t bill us without ID.
What was disappointing was not the policy itself — but the manner in which it was handled. If ID verification is mandatory even for restaurant guests, it should be clearly mentioned at the entrance, on the website, or informed before seating. The abrupt and discourteous way it was communicated ruined what could have been a pleasant dining experience.
