Read moreRooms where neat and clean. Regarding breakfast was not that bad but could have been more better. The popup toaster was not working we stayed for three nights but it was not repaired got to keep pressing the nob tell breads got toasted. The most bad thing was check in. Well their management has the policy of charging for early checkin and late checkout. Well we understand the policy but when rooms our empty and guest come few hours early then they should consider it. I am saying 4/5 hours early at least can give room 1 or two hours early. We requested as we had travelled whole night self driven car. After waiting for an hour or more one of the lady who was speaking Gujarati understood our problem and then gave us the room approx 1/1.30 hours early. My request to management is that guest can come early due to their train, fight bookings made which was available at the time of booking. And what is guest reaches late no discount would be given you would charge the booking price. So I don’t say give 4/5 hours early but give 1/2 hours early and how the guest have come all the way travelling by self driven car and if the guest is a family with small kids. Because as we arrived early next day same way a family with kids arrived too early around morning 8 and checkin time is 2 in afternoon then what happened we actually don’t know but they were in lobby for two hours and more till we went out. My request is to just change the policy rest all was good. We recommend your hotel but people coming please check the time of checkin. And hope policy changes or gets little soft seeing guests condition and if...
Read moreI'm not sure where to start with this hotel, it comes across as quite posh and nice but I go as far to say it's dirty and if I could have afforded to moved hotels I would have. We stayed here for 11 nights but the room (Royal Suite) was anything but royal with peeling wallpaper, dusty floors, rat droppings on the balcony and very tired decor and lots of road noise.
You can see how dirty the floor is just from walking barefoot in the rooms for a while, and as they use the same mop on the balcony for the rooms I don't want to think about the rat droppings being spread about. I did surprise a very healthy looking rat on my last evening when I came out of the lift on the ground floor! Other things that were not great - for at least 5 days the pool water was cloudy which means poorly maintained or poor chemicals are being used, toxic polish/paint fumes with no ventilation, house keeping ignore the house keeping light so no point in using it but on the day you don't use it they tell you that you have to use it, daily phone calls at 9:10am to remind me breakfast closes at 10:30 even when I asked them to stop, extraction fan in bathroom stopped working and finally on our last day the AC in the bedroom stopped working.
The few good points this hotel has is rooms are large and beds comfy, there was a lovely waiter who always smiled (think his name was Raz) and they had an excellent...
