GT Boutique Resorts — Restaurant in Goa

Stayed there during my recent trip..Here is my un-biased personal review

Location: 3/5 Resort is located atleast 10mins walk away from the main road. Facility: 4/5 Resort is located inside a shared property which houses other resorts as well. All of them share the common areas like the seimming pool, kitchen etc. Parking: 4/5 ample parking space outside the property walls. No question of any mischief to your vehicle. Service: 4/5 Service is prompt and very good. Maybe it is not a peak tourist season, however service was good enough. Had an issue with the sliding door lock in the balcony, the lock was promptly replaced Check-in: Usual check-in time is 12 PM, however I checked-in at around 4:30PM since I was driving down from Bangalore. No issues at all. Called them up earlier and intimated about my late arrival. Room was ready by the time I arrived. Was also served a welcome drink upon arrival. Breakfast: Not a bad spread with aloo parathas, poha, bread, eggs etc on offer alongwith unlimited drinks (juice, milk, tea & coffee)

Cons: Room: The TV in the room is a small 24 inch which is even smaller than my pc monitor. Also, the lock on the balcony door was broken, which I saw the next day. Toilet: Was just given 2 small soap bars and shampoo satchet. This could have been better. Overall maintenance: Room was not cleaned the next day, however we did not care that much about this.

Overall, I am happy with my decision to stay here for 2 nights. May not come back only due to the distance from the...

Update : 2 years later again I visited this property because of good experience in the past, like last year I had come with a group of bikers and had enjoyed a lot, unfortunately, this year we were welcomed by a lady ( possibly the supervisor) who immediately and somewhat rudely asked us to park our costly superbikes unattended & outside the property, coming from a 300km ride, all 32 of us were tired and the lady didn't even allow us to alight off the bikes calmly. Meanwhile we had sent one of our friends to do the paperwork at the reception simply as to not crowd the reception.

On the next day, all the guys were at the swimming pool and I won't deny the fact that the guys were jumping in the pool despite the Sign that said 'no diving', it happens when a bunch of guys come together on a vacation, the same lady showed up and said " everyone of you get out of the swimming pool, read the instructions of you all can read and are educated " , we all are educated enough to have careers where we can afford to holiday in properties where "rude" people work.

There are polite ways to interact with guests, a similar incident happened where the food server took almost 40 mins to show up with Jeera rice and butter chicken, and when asked to get food quicker, said " mere sirf do hi haath hai.. and walked off ".

It is now clear that this place is not suitable for us and unworthy of handling guests. Am posting here a few pictures of what actually...
